Chapter Four
Phoenix Creation
Abhi has just entered the office,on seeing him Neeha comes to report about the progress of the interview,she tells him that all the candidates have finished dressing up the mannequin,he just have to evaluate them.Abhi ask Neeha to continue with her work while he evaluates the candidates.After informing everyone that their boss is coming to inspect their work,she goes to do her job.
There are about 10 candidates who has applied for this job,he really liked some of their portfolios.Abhi to himself lets see what they have got.Abhi was inspecting each ones work and giving them their feed back.Pragya who was the last candidate was getting nervous because next was her turn.After giving feed back to the person,Abhi turns to go inspect the last persons work,so far he was disappointed because non of them has reached his expectation.
Pragya gets the shock of her life on seeing the persons face,because she never excepted it to be same person with whom she has argued this morning.Abhi has reached the last mannequin,when he heard her murmuring to her self. Pragya you idiot what was the need for you to fight with him,I know he is irritating,but you see now your dream is never going to happen.Cheer up Pragya don't let him see you are sad keep a smile on your face.(She didn't even realize that she was speaking aloud and Abhi has heard everything)
Abhi,though he was shocked and irritated by hearing her speak,goes to examine her work.On seeing her work he was impressed after inspecting her work thoroughly he turns to speak with Pragya.
Abhi:I like your colour sense,your costume is not too Indian nor too Western its a perfect blend.I like it,collect your appointment letter from Neeha and come to the office tomorrow at sharp 9.30 am do you understand.
Pragya:(Who was staring at him with open mouth)WHAT.
Abhi:I told you to collect your appointment letter from Neeha and be at office at 9.30 am and don't be late like today,I don't like latecomers.
Pragya:I got the job for real.
Abhi:Yes Miss.Pragya Arora.
Pragya:With a huge smile thanks him and goes from there.

Bulbul who was craning her neck to get a clear view of the person gets really shocked when he turns to face her. Bulbul why didn't you do proper research before applying for the job you never did anything like this before, at least you gave your best(Thinks with a sad face) Purab comes near her,Bulbul tries to stand.
Purab:Sit Miss.Bulbul Arora.I like your spirit and determination very much.You can collect your appointment letter from Seena and join us after five weeks and you will be in my team for 6 months training period where you will learn all about various types and techniques of dancing as well as how to work as a team,after that you can start your individual work and you will have to travel a lot during your work and sometimes you will have to work at late night,if you are ok with it then you can join us in five weeks ok. Bulbul:Really I am selected.
Purab:Yes,and there is one more thing(He hesitates for a while)I am sorry its because of me you are injured.
Bulbul:With a huge smile,It is because of your driver I am injured. Purab:Any way I am sorry,bye see you after five weeks. Aliya was staring after him with open mouth.
Bulbul:Aliya what's the matter?
Aliya:Did I actually hear Purab Khanna apologize to you or am I dreaming? Bulbul:You are not dreaming,he did actually apologize to me,why are you reacting like this? Aliya:Because Purab Khanna never apologizes to anyone your the first person to whom he ever told sorry.
Bulbul:(Thinks So that's why he sounded so awkward while apologizing to me)You see it is because of his driver I got injured.
Aliya:Its ok,bye see you soon.
At home
Sarla:Bulbul dear what happened to your leg?
Bulbul:Its nothing auntie just slipped on my way home,l am alright now,doctor has told me to take rest that's all.
Sarla:Ok then,come and sit dear.Now tell me how was your interview? Bulbul:Happily,Auntie I got the job(Shows her the appointment letter)I have to join after five weeks.After 6 month training period I can start working on my own,but auntie I will have to travel a lot and also do late shifts during some day. Sarla:I am really happy that you got your job dear,but do you really want to do this job after knowing that you have to travel a lot and work at night.
Bulbul:Yes auntie,its my dream job and please don't say no auntie. Sarla:Ok then,if that is what you really wish then I wont say no to it,now you should take adequate rest.
Bulbul:Thank you so much auntie,has Pragya came yet? Sarla:No dear she will come soon I think you go and change while I get your lunch ready. Bulbul:Ok auntie.
After a while Pragya reaches home.
Pragya:Mummy I am home.
Sarla:You came.
Pragya:Mummy I got the job and hugs her mother.
Sarla:Its a great new,that means celebration tonight.
Pragya:Mom did Bulbul come home?
Sarla:Yes she is resting in your room.
Pragya:Mom did she get her job?
Sarla:Why don't you ask her yourself.

Pragya goes up to her room and sees Bulbul sitting in the bed with her bandaged leg popped up in the pillow.
Pragya:Bulbul what happened to your leg?
Bulbul:Its nothing ya slipped in the road that's all.
Pragya:Oh Oh Bulbul how can you be so careless like this,promise me that you will take care of yourself her after.
Bulbul:Ok Ok I promise,now will you listen to me?
Pragya:(Smile's)Tell me.
Bulbul starts telling her everything.
Pragya:Wait a minute,that guy hit you and doesn't even apologize to you,what does he thinks of himself.
Bulbul:Pragya listen to the full story ya.
Pragya nods Bulbul continues with her story.
Pragya:Wait a second are you telling me that you danced with your sprained leg,are you mad Bulbul what if something happened to you. Bulbul:I am sorry ya,I wont behave like this here after.Now stop interrupting me. After that she tells her the entire story.
Pragya:So you are going to work with the same guy who hit you,anyways he told you sorry right then he must not be such a bad person.
Bulbul:You are right,you know what a great choreographer he is. Pragya:First time I am seeing a person admiring the guy who had hit her with car,what is going on here uh (Teasingly)
Bulbul:Enough ya,now tell me what happened today.
Pragya starts telling her everything.
Bulbul:Wait a minute you actually told a guy that he is not handsome(Laughing so much) Pragya:Yes stop laughing.
Bulbul:Anyways was he handsome(Controlling her laughter) Pragya:Bulbul you will never change.
Bulbul:You didn't answer my question.
Pragya:(Blushing)Yes.
Bulbul:My sister is blushing uh.(Smiling)
Pragya:Bulbul stop it ya.
Bulbul:Ok Ok continue.
After Pragya finishes her story.
Bulbul:So you are going to work for the handsome guy uh(Laughing) Pragya throws a pillow at her.She gets out of the bed,and takes a dress out of her wardrobe. Bulbul:Why are you taking out this dress now?
Pragya:I have to meet dadi in the evening that's why.
Bulbul:Dadi?
Pragya:Oh Oh I forget to tell you about her,sits down to tell her. Bulbul:How will you tell,your mind is else where right.
Pragya:I wont tell you(Angrily)
Bulbul:Ok ya don't be angry,tell me what happened.
Pragya tells her about the morning incident.
Pragya:Oh Oh I forget to tell mummy about it
And she rushes out of her room to tell her mom.Bulbul smiles at her sisters antic. In The Kitchen
Pragya:Mummy I have meet your old neighbour today,she is staying next to our house. Sarala:Supriya auntie is back,I have not seen her for twelve years. Pragya:Mummy get ready in the evening ok ,I have told dadi that we will met her then. Sarla:Ok you go and here take this(Giving her food for both of them)when you sisters start talking to each other you forget about everything else.I will make some food for Supriya auntie as well.
Pragya:Mummy don't make any oily or spicy food,she fainted in the morning due to low BP. Sarla:Ok now go.
Abhi's House
On hearing the door bell dadi goes to open the door.
Dadi:Pragya,Sarla come inside.
Pragya:Dadi how are you now?
Dadi:I am fine,tell me how was your interview?
Pragya:l got the job dadi and you know what my boss very arrogant and strict person(Happily).
Dadi:And you are happy about it?
Pragya:Not for that dadi,I am happy because he is very talented person and I will learn a lot from him.
Dadi:That's a good thing.I am seeing you after so many years Sarla,How is everything here? Sarla:l don't even know what tell you auntie,so many things happened,now even my three daughters are gown up so much.
Dadi:Three daughters?
Sarla:Woh,my sister Nandana and her husband Prathap passed away in an accident and their daughter Bulbul is living with us now.
Dadi:Ok,How is Purvi now?
Sarla:(Becomes sad)She is married now.
Pragya:(To change the topic)Dadi are you living here all alone? Dadi:No dear,my grandson also staying with me.
Pragya:Where is he now?
Dadi:He is upstairs,busy with some work.
Sarla:After everything that happened,How is he now auntie? Dadi:It was difficult for him Sarla,but now he is alright,he is doing his own business now,actually it is because of his business only we are hear.
After chatting for a while longer they gets up to live.Mean while upstairs Abhi who has just got out of the washroom hears Pragya's voice.
Abhi:That's Pragya's voice,Abhi you idiot how can she be here,you must be imaging things. After a few minutes he hears her voice again so he decides to go down and check it himself,while coming down stairs he sees her leaving. Sarla:This is for you,its your favourite food.
Dadi:Thank you Sarla.
Pragya:Bye dadi,take care of yourself.
Abhi:Why did Pragya Arora come here.
Dadi:Abhi you know her?
Abhi She is working in my office now.
Dadi:So you are her boss(With a smile)
Abhi:So why did she come here.
Dadi:Why are you so interested in her uh(Teasingly)
Abhi:I just don't want her to cause anymore problem for me today. Dadi:Problem,why are you saying so?
Abhi:Actually we had fight this morning that's why?
Dadi:Fight,why did you fight with her?
Abhi:Woh actually.
Dadi:Come on Abhi tell me what happened.
Abhi tells her about everything that happened in the morning,dadi is laughing so much. Abhi:Dadi that girl insulted me and you are laughing.
Dadi:Then what will she do,you broke her phone and didn't even apologize to her. Abhi:Actually I was going to apologize to her,but when she started shouting I forgot(Sheepishly)
Dadi:Anyways with whom where you talking?That you forget your surroundings? Abhi:Its Rahul,he called me in the morning to enquire about you.Anyways why did she come hear?
Dadi:She is the girl who helped me in the morning,she came hear to enquire about my health.
Abhi:Ok then.
Dadi:Come lets eat.
After their dinnerAbhi make Dadi take her medicine,then goes to his room. Pragya's Home
Sarla has prepared all their favourite foods to congratulate both of them for their job. Prasanth:Congrats both of you,I am really very proud of you girls. Pragya:Thanks papa.
Bulbul:Thanks uncle.
After dinner.
Sarla:Pragya sleep early ok,you have to go to the office tomorrow. Pragya:Ok mummy good night.
Bulbul:Good night auntie.
Sarla:Kissed both of them in their forehead and wishes them good night. In their room both of them where lost in their thoughts .
Pragya:What did actually happen to Dadi's family twelve years back?Why did they leave India?Why is not mummy telling me anything?

On their way home
Pragya:Mummy what happened to dadi's family twelve years back? Sarla:Pragya dear its their personal matter,don't interfere with others personal matter. Pragya:But mummy.
Sarla:No Pragya that's final don't ever ask about this matter to me again. Pragya nods

Bulbul(Thinks of her parents)I got my dream job today,you guys are not even hear with me to share my happiness,my joy is incomplete without you guys,I Miss You So Much today(With tears running down her cheek)
