OK Dee you won't see this for hours and it'll be irrelevant after today's ep but you asked for an elaboration so here's an attempt. What I meant by this is that if I put myself in Pragya's position, I could not imagine walking away from that encounter with any sense that Abhi loved me. He said her betrayal changed her feelings for him and yes the logical implication of that is that he loved her before she told him she'd been playing tricks on him. But is she in any state for logic? She just had to push away the man she loves after finding out that he's been playing with her for weeks ("they're my clients") and that he has destroyed any possibility of their marriage having a future (by theoretically fathering Tanu's child). With all that playing her head she's supposed to be paying attention to the hidden meaning of his words?
Add on top of that that he's telling her he hates her. Any sensible woman would take that at face value, because it's in line with what he's been saying for most of their marriage. How are a few minutes of playful positivity ("I'm never going to say anything to hurt you again") and a bunch of negative statements uttered in rage ("You meant the world to me until you did this") supposed to counteract everything else he's said and done during the course of their marriage to show that he doesn't value it? Yes he's saved her and her family. Yes he plays good son-in-law. But he also keeps his girlfriend. He also consistently misunderstands her and seems incapable of actually seeing her for who she is. It's hard to trust Abhi when he can explode like this. And he's taught her to distrust everything positive he says anyway. On the ledge he told her he couldn't live without her. Afterwards he told her her life was worthless to him.
Anyway, even if she does pick up on and believe in Abhi's supposed love, it's utterly irrelevant now. She's going to leave him because she doesn't want to deprive the baby of its parents. Making it easy for him is not a priority. Making sure he doesn't feel bad is not important. In yesterday's episode, she just needed to get through the awful moment of taking back her confession. Nothing else mattered. And the fallout was maybe worse than she expected, but it was always going to be bad.
Basically in my view Pragya has no reason to know or care that Abhi loves her. I also don't think he does love her, since his rage overtook him so easily. However, multiple people have told me that they read in Pragya's face that she understood his love for her. Today's and next week's episodes will probably prove me wrong about what Pragya can notice and what matters to her. But I wrote that initial comment because it didn't make any sense to me for Pragya to have any perception of Abhi's love in yesterday's episode. That is because I keep making the mistake of identifying with Pragya, who ultimately is not like a real woman. She's a fictional construct and the writers will make her do whatever they want, so guessing about human nature and psychological patterns will always be of limited value in understanding her.
