CHAPTER:1
Abhi was sitting in the living room sofa still in his wedding sherwani as he didn't want go to his room which was decorated for their wedding night.''Wedding night my foot''thought Abhi as he kept his head in his hands with irritation.He was really tired from all the wedding rituals and he want nothing more to have a peaceful sleep.But he didn't want to enter his room where the girl who hurted his sister is now and mentally cursed himself for now for agreeing to his sister's plan as he can't even go to his whenever he wanted and he didn't know how he is going to spend a whole years with his so called wife.Just then he heard the main door of the house opening and Abhi looked up to see an angry purab coming towards him followed by Aaliya.
''What are you doing here purab?''asked Abhi standing from the sofa.
''What i am doing here?Well let me guess Abhi.My best friend who is also like my brother got married without even informing me and i have to know about his marriage in radio.So i came here to ask why he did this and how could he do this?''shouted purab in anger.
''Purab do you really expect me to invite you to my wedding after what you did with my sister?''shouted Abhi.
''Abhi i already asked sorry for hurting Aaliya like this.But why can't you understand if i marry your sister she can never be happy when i was in love with another girl.Even knowing me from childhood can't you even undertsand i am not in love with Aaliya?''asked purab.
''Purab i don't need your explanations okay.You hurted my sister and i can never forgive you for that''said Abhi in anger.
''But Abhi how can you marry without even informing me?I know i made a mistake but this is too much Abhi''said Purab in a pissed tone.But before Abhi could replay purab looked at pragya who was coming down the stairs in shock and Aaliya,Abhi too looked at the stairs seeing his shock.
''Purab what are you doing here?''asked pragya once she came and stood beside Abhi.
Pragya on other other hand was sitting pnthe beautiful decorated bed for their wedding night in Abhi's room in her sasural which is new home in her bridal dress waiting for her husband.She was really nervous and hoped she can have a nice and undertsanding talk with Abhi before starting a new life with him.she know their past meeting all ended in diaster or misundersanding and today she decided to talk with him and clear all the misundertsanding as she didn't want to start her new life with her husband with bitter memories.But its been 30 minutes she entered the room and there was no sign of her husband.Just then she heard shouting from downstairs and got confused as everyone except her and Abhi are staying in the guest house to give the newly wedded couple privacy.As the shouting continued she became concern and decided to see what was going down and left the room.As she came near the stairs she was shocked to see Purab standing between Aaliya and Abhi and arguing with Abhi.
''But Abhi how can you marry without even informing me?I know i made a mistake but this is too much Abhi''said Purab in a pissed tone.But before Abhi could replay purab looked at pragya who was coming down the stairs in shock and Aaliya,Abhi too looked at the stairs seeing his shock.
''Purab what are you doing here?''asked pragya once she came and stood beside Abhi.
''But you here?''asked Purab in shock and confusion but after few seconds he understoon everything and looked at his best friend in shock.
''You married her?''asked purab in shock and Abhi just gave nod.
''OMG Abhi i am so happy for you.I am really happy for you ''said Purab with happiness and hugged Abhi while Abhi and Aaliya looked him shock.Then he went and hugged pragya with the same smile and pragya too returned the hug with a soft smile and broke the hug after few seconds.
''Pragya di i am so happy for you.Abhi is really a great guy di and i am sure he will keep you happy.Congrats''said Purab with a smile which Pragya returned.
''Thanks purab''said pragya with her soft smile while Abhi and Aaliya stood in shock hearing purab calling her di.
''Di?How come she is your di?''asked Abhi who was the first to come out of shock.
''Abhi i know her once she came to see me in the office regrading her sister's job and we bonded immediately and she like a sister to me now.But i am glad you married her instead of Tanu as she never deserved your love.''said purab with a smile while Abhi looked his wife who was smiling soflty and realized what a mess he had created.Aaliya on the other hand didn't even know how to react seeing the big mistake she made.
''Okay now i don't want to disturb you both anymore.Even i didn't feel bad now for not getting invited to your marriage as i was so happy to see you both together.So i will leave now bye Abhi,bye di''said purab and Abhi just gave a nod while pragya smiled with a nod.
''Lets go and leave them alone Aaliya''said purab and took Aaliya before she could react.Leaving a shocked Abhi behind.Abhi just stood there rooted to his spot not finally understanding the big mistake he and his sister did coz of an stupid misunderstading and he didn't know how he is going to face pragya now.Just then he felt a hand on his shoulder which bought him back from his thought and looked at his newly wedded wife looking him with concern.
''Aap theek hain na.I was calling you for the last few seconds''asked pragya in concern.
''I am fine pragya.You go to our room,i will be there in few minutes''said Abhi and Pragya gave nod.Then she started to walk to their room while Abhi stood there not knowing what he is going to do now.But he decided to talk with pragya first and to know for what she married him and then to decide everything.With this thought he went to his room to talk with pragya.

As Abhi entered the room he saw pragya sitting on the bed and walked towards her locking the door.Then he sat beside pragya who was now sleeping resting her head on the bedrest.Abhi can see how tired she was from all the rituals and seeing her sleeping like an innocent child made his heartache for what he have done.
''Pragya''called Abhi softly placing his hand on his shoulder and pragya woke up and looked at him.
''I am sorry Abhishekh..I was so tired and i slept''said pragya.
''Its okay you sleep we can talk everything tomorrow''said Abhi.
''No Abhishekh i am not that tired.Lets talk''said pragya and Abhi nodded.
''Abhi first i have to say sorry''said pragya and Abhi looked him with confusion.
''Sorry?''asked Abhi.
''Haan.Actually purab lied to you about how we met.Well i didn't meet purab regarding my sister's job but about her love.Bulbul and purab was love with each other Abhi,but he cheated her but keeping the truth that he was already engaged to another girl.So she broke up with him once she came to know about it.''said pragya and Abhi looked her in shock.
''Purab and Bulbul''said Abhi and pragya nodded.
''Haan.That's the reason i went to see him in the office as i wanted to know if purab is the one for my sister.After talking with him i understood he really loves and even i started to love him as my own brother.But after seeing Bulbul in pain i can't help but get angry on him for huring my sister.But Abhi how did you know purab?''asked Pragya.
''He is or was my best friend and like my brother pragya,but we are not in good terms for the last few months''said Abhi and pragya can see he was really hurting because of whatever happened between Purab and him.Seeing his pain pragya kept her hand on his .
''Don't worry Abhi everything between you and Purab will be fine soon.''said pragya with an smile assuring smile.
''I hope so pragya.Pragya if you don't mind can i know why you agreed to marry me when you denied first?''asked Abhi as he really wanted to know the reason why she married him.
''Its true first i didn't want to marry you after seeing you supporting Akash in the pregnancy issue.But when i said this to maa she fainted and worry about me as my marriage already broke twice.Then she explained you may have supported Akash by talking wrong side ,but whatever you did is because of the love you have for your brother and asked me to give this marriage a chance.And after seeing how you respected my family and love your daadi,i understood maybe i am the one you misunderstood you and decided to marry you as i started to trust you after i spoke with you daadi.''said pragya and Abhi tried hard not to look away from her in guilt.
''So Your Maa and daadi i the reason you married me?''asked Abhi.
''No Abhi.They may be the one of the reason but when i married you i promised myself that i try to fulfull all the duties to this family and to you.I may misunderstood you before Abhi but now i trust you and i agreed to this marriage also for you and us''said Pragya and Abhi didn't know what to say.Here he thought she was a gold digger whom married him for money but only to find out she was innocent and married him as she started ti trust him.
''Pragya thanks a lot for being frank with me and for trusting me.And i promise you i will try my hard not to broke your trust,but for now i am not ready to take this marriage to another level as i broke up with Tanu just a week before our marriage as she considered her career is more important than my daadi and our marriage.So i need time and first we both needed to know each other,i hope you will understand''said Abhi.
''I understand Abhi.Even i was thinking the same.I don't have any problem in waiting as i was not too ready for the next step before knowing you well''said pragya and Abhi became relieve as she understood him.
''Okay then lets be friends and see where this relation goes.So Friends?''asked Abhi with a smile forwarding his hand.
''Friends''said pragya shaking his hand with a smile.
''Okay.Now go and change into something comforable and let hit the bed.I am really tired from all this marriage rituals''said Abhi and pragya stood up from the bed with a nod.
''I will be back in 10 minutes''said pragya and left to the washroom taking her night dress leaving Abhi alone with his thoughts.
Abhi just closed his eyes and rubbed his face thinking how is going to amke everything right.But whatever happens he decided to make sure pragya will not get hurt and promised to give this marriage a chance.He know Aaliya will be disappointed when she comes to know about this as she was Tanu's best friend and still wants him and Tanu together.But after seeing how much Tanu was slefish he know she is will never be the right bahu for daadi and made sure there will be no place for her in his life anymore.But after knowing how good hearted pragya is and how she started to trust him,he became promised himself not to break the trust and give this marriage a real chance as he know how much marriage values for pragya and he didn't want to hurt her at anycost.Then he stood up from the bed and went to the wardobe to take his night dress and changed in the room knowing it will take time for pragya to return.
Pragya came back after 20 minutes in a simple night dress putting her hair in braid after removing all her make up and jewels except her manglasutra.Once she entered the room she saw Abhi placing a pillow on the couch and looked him in confusion.
''Abhi what are you doing?''asked pragya.
''I will sleep here and you can take the bed''said Abhi but pragya shook her head.
''Abhi please we are in 21st century and we both are grown up adults.Its not a big deal sharing the bed,so please go and sleep on the bed.''said pragya.
''But pragya...''started Abhi to protest.
''No buts and ifs.Come go and sleep on the bed or i will pour water on the couch''said pragya and Abhi tired hard not to smile seeing her ordering him like this.
''Hmmm not bad.Its not even 24 hours we got married and already you are ordering the Rockstar and my daadi think you are veery sanskari''said Abhi with a teasing smile.
''Whatever Abhi.Now go and sleep on the bed otherwise i will do what i said before''said pragya in a stern voice trying not to smile.
''Okay madam i will''said Abhi and laid on the bed taking his favorite pillow.Then pragya to laid on the bed and Abhi switched the lights off.
''Arrey why did you swtiched the lights off?''asked pragya.
''Ofcourse to sleep pragya''said Abhi.
''But i can't sleep without lights.I am afraid of darkness''said pragya looking Abhi and Abhi's heart melted seeing the innocent fear in her eyes.
''Come here''said Abhi opening his arms and pragya looking him with hesitation for few seconds but then moved closer to him.Then Abhi softly pulled her into his arms and pragya body got tensed lightly as it was the first time she was this close with a man,but after few seconds she got relaxed knowing it was her husband and laid her head on his chest.
''Now go to sleep with out any fear''said Abhi in a soft voice.
''Thank you''said Pragya in a small voice.
''Its okay.Now sleep.Good night''said Abhi and pragya nodded.
''Good night''said pragya and closed her eyes with a smile while Abhi too closed his eyes and both of them drifted to a peaceful sleep in each others arms.

My Friends in this FF Abhi broke all the relation with Tanu once she said no to the marriage proposal and even pragya is too bold,practical and modern here as i can't tolerate this unreal and mahan pragya in the show anymore.Just want to let you all know this before updating the next chapter.
