My dad and I always commented that Abhi was abusive to Pragya in the early days of their marriage - the constant threats of violence, the taunting and the frequent dropping (can cause real physical damage!). I think if you do look at Abhi's behaviour and put it through the definition of abuse, you do find lots of similarities.

Yes Meethu, too much is tolerated in soaps. I can't forget this one scene from Kasamh Se, where the heroine's rich and powerful husband Jai gets her childhood home demolished in an act of revenge. That home meant everything to Bani (the heroine) and her sisters. And I could never forgive that action of his, even when he rebuilt another home in the same spot with the exact same structure. Idk, maybe I am too harsh.

Rani, the dropping was shown dramatically but it was interned that she was not hurt. So he did not drop her to hurt her...

I like how Pragya is not quiet like before and she gives a moo thor jawaab
