Today's episode-
Interesting stuff happened today.
First of all, it was smart and brave of Abhi to make Bulbul faint so that she does not go to the kidnappers at any cost. He knew he won't be able to stop her with words. So as a responsible bro in law, he did the most right thing by stopping her from going and as a responsible husband he braced himself to fight the kidnappers alone. He is committed to Pragya and her family as a husband/son/bro in law as well as a human being.
And Abhi was also responsible for Tannu when she told him she is scared and in trouble. He did go to help her out too. But of course, he was not going to celebrate Valentine's with her when he needs to find Pragya. What he told Tannu was significant. He understands and respects that Pragya has been with him all along, supported him as a wife, while he hated her. And he feels the need and responsibility to act on his commitment when it has come to that. The scene also showed how fragile Tannu-Abhi's relationship is. Abhi tells her she can't stop him from what he wants to do and he wouldn't stop her from what she would want to do. So there you go, it's not really giving space but it's saying our relationship is not enough for us to give each other those rights! I doubt Tannu would end this relation since her motivation is far more than Abhi, but will be interesting to see his take on them later on.
Abhi does talk of wanting to let Pragya go, but his actions have been always louder than his obnoxiously loud words. I really would like to see "how" he will let her go when it comes to that!
Pragya- Uff- I understand she is under a terrible situation, but she is mixing up commitment and love big time. She on one hand thinks Abhi will not come to rescue her despite witnessing him looking for her, because he loves Tannu. But she does not realize he has always been there for her in such situations, when he actually hated her. So, if he does come to save her, Pragya might read it as love, which isn't a "clear case" with Abhi.
However, what Sarla Maa said to Daadi was significant- she says, this is a test (aazmaish) of love for Abhi and Pragya. Yes it is! More so for Abhi's. Yes, he is doing it all for commitment, but then, he sees a couple and fondly thinks of Pragya.. and he will perhaps risk his everything for her in near future.. and that's not just commitment. But he needs to figure it out.
Wonder what role the letter that Ramu Kaaka gave Abhi will play in the whole matter.
P.S: The button scene was sweet. Abhi showing some sharam😲, of course he was faking it to hide his nail color blunder, nevertheless... it was cute.
Pragya's dream hug! The cake killed it for me. Eating a cake while just having escaped the kidnappers.. 🤔
