Hello there!
Okay to begin with I didn't have an issue with Purab telling Bulbul off, and yes we all get there is supposed to be a Prabul dynamic, where all he sees is her and all she sees is him. Unfortunately, the way I see it real life love stories are different.
In real life, when your loved one starts talking crazy, you lash out at them,or you reason with them - Purab sits there and laments, without actually doing anything. This is one thing I truly dislike, for the guy who was supposedly Abhi's right hand man, Purab's rational thinking capacity is not much better than a teenage girl at a One Direction concert. Yes, Bulbul was demanded in return for Pragya, how about putting some actual thought into the matter - or at the least shushing Bulbul when she is blaming herself for ruining her sister's life,Instead what does he do - he goes up and gives Abhi a sermon! ABHI! The man who's wife is actually missing - total lack of sensitivity.
I suppose the point I'm trying to make is that - I don't have an issue with Purab protecting Bulbul, even against Abhi, I have an issue with how he did it - it took him 10 seconds to turn his back on a friendship that supposedly meant the world to him and even less to think the worst of that same friend. And that is what bothered me. He is so wrapped up in his own self and what he considers 'his' - that he can't see any further - which at the end of the day is the same thing Aaliya has an issue with - on a more macro level of course.
