Purab and Bulbul are walking side by side toward the Lohri fire ground. She reminisces Purab telling her that he will consider them married after the rounds around the Lohri fire and will want to take it further by taking the husband-wife relationship to the next level.
Agar phere ley liye toh mere saap se shaadi ho chuki, aur uske baad na... tum muhje apne paas aane se nahi rok sakti ho. (If we take the rounds, then according to me we are married, and you cannot stop me from coming closer to you)
She gleefully smiles thinking about his words to her.
They walk gracefully to Sarla maa and the daadis. Sarla maa says, "Mein bata bhi nahi sakti hu ki mein kitni kush hu. Ab jao aur Lohri ke phere ley lo. Phir asli phere Shaadi ke din ley linna." (I cannot even tell you how happy I am. Now go and take the rounds around the Lohri fire. Then take the actual marriage rounds on the day of the marriage.)
Indu daasi starts teasing them about grandchildren. She says, "Sunho, lagta hai ki Abhi aur Pragya ke pele ye hum ko voh waali kushi dehnge. Haan!" Purab and Bulbul blush. Aliya gets irked hearing this. (Listen, it seems they will give us the happiness of being grandmothers before Abhi and Pragya will. Yes!)
Purab looks down at Bulbul's hands and gently grabs it. He takes her to the Lohri fire and whispers, "Muhje gaal ke kiss se kuch jaada hi chahiye," He smiles naughtily. (I want more than just a kiss on the cheek.)
Her face burns with a shade of red. She replies, "Muhje lagta hai ki ye toh sabko chahiye hum se, par mein pele hi bata de thi hu, mein koi bacha vacha nahi karne waali hu 2-3 years thak!" (I think that everyone wants this from us, but let me tell you beforehand, I am not going to have children until 2-3 years!)
With that, she leads the way to the rounds. They complete the rounds one by one until they get to the seventh round. Aliya sticks her foot out in front of Bulbul, tripping her. Bulbul stumbles into Tanu and accidently pushes her into the fire.
"Aah! Koi muhje bachao! Please, ple-," Tanu weeps helplessly while trapped in the fire. (Aah! Someone save me! Please, ple-)
Bulbul drags Tanu out of the fire and starts stumping on her in order to kill the fire. Fire department and emergency services arrive and take Tanu away to the hospital.
