Abhi paces back and forth pondering on how he is supposed to explain the situation to Pragya. Preeti, Tanu's mom, meets Pragya's eyes and rapidly looks away. Tanu's dad, Ameesh, sees this and tries to break the awkward silence by asking where the washroom is. Pragya shows him the way. Suddenly, Abhi stops pacing and grabs Pragya by her upper arm; he takes her near the stairwell.

Swinging her around, he exclaims, "Tum apne aap ko samajh thi kya ho?! How... how dare you? Himath kese ki tum ne idhar aane ki aur interfere karne ki?!" (Who do you think you are?! How... how dare you? Where did you get the guts to come over here and interfere?!)

Pragya intervenes, "Sono, mere se thik se baat karo apne clients ke saamne." She walks back towards Preeti and introduces herself. "Mein Pragya hoon, Abhi ki wife." (Listen, talk to me nicely in front of your clients.) (I am Pragya, Abhi's wife.)

Preeti responds, "Hello, I am-" (Hello, I am-)

She gets cut short by Pragya, "I know who you are and why you are here. Actually, mein yeh deal karvaana chaathi hoon... so I want commission." (I know who you are and why you are here. Actually, I want to do this deal... so I want commission.)

"What?" a puzzled Preeti asks. She exchanges glances with Abhi. (What?)

"Mein joke maar rahi thi," Pragya laughs. "Par Abhi ek bohot ache rockstar hain. Voh advanced payment liye bihna koi kaam nahi karte hain." (I was making a joke. But Abhi is a very good rockstar. He doesn't do anything without taking advanced payment first.)

"Advanced payment? Commission?" Preeti angrily asks. (Advanced payment? Commission?)

Ameesh returns from the washroom. "Kya ho raha hain yahan?" (What is happening over here?)

"Yeh Pragya bohot chaalu nikali!" Preeti exclaims. "Chalo yahan se. Idhar tho dowry aur payment ki baat ho rahi hain." (This Pragya turned out to be very smart! Let's go from here. They are talking about taking dowry and payment.)

"Matlab?" Ameesh questioned. (Meaning?)

"Pragya ne apne aur Abhi ka rishta torne ki payment maang hi hain aur saath me apne liye commission bhi maanga hai," Preeti explains. (Pragya has asked for payment for breaking her relation with Abhi and she has also asked for commission for herself.)

Pragya is shocked. She turns pale.

"What?! How dare you... you middle-class woman!" Ameesh hollers. (What?! How dare you... you middle-class woman!)

Abhi comes in between Tanu's parents and glares at Ameesh.

"Vaapas kaho ki Pragya ek middle-class woman hain," Abhi challenges. He walks towards Pragya. (Say it again, that Pragya is a middle-class woman.)

Allah Waariyan song plays in the background.

Apne roothein, paraaye roothein
Yaar roothe naa
Khwaab tootein, waade tootein
Dil ye toote naa (x2)

Roothe to khuda bhi roothe

He takes her hand and brings her in front of them. "She... she is my wife. Kindly respect her. Voh samjhi ki aap log mere clients ho," Abhi said, not letting go of her hand. (She... she is my wife. Kindly respect her. She thought you both were my clients.)

Preeti looks at their jodi suspiciously, but before she could say anything, Robin rushes in and takes Abhi to the side.

"Everyone, please excuse me," Abhi said. "Aap log beht jaaiye. Ram Singh! Kuch kaane ki preparations karo!" (Everyone, please excuse me. You all take a seat. Ram Singh! Make preparations for food.)

Near the stairwell, Robin tells Abhi what took place at the Lohri ground. Abhi wrinkles his eyebrows and throws his head into his hands. He seems worried.

He walks towards the parents. "Tanu... uh... hospital me hain. Hum log ko time nahi hain. Sab vahaan paunch gaye hain. Chalo!" (Tanu... uh... is admitted at the hospital. We don't have time. Everyone is there already. Let's go!)

Ameesh and Preeti are shocked. Ameesh handles her seeing that she is about to collapse.

Everyone rushes out the mansion, into Abhi's driveway.

"Driver, humare guests ko St. Mary's Private Hospital pauncha do," Abhi commands. (Driver, bring our guests to St. Mary's Private Hospital.)

The driver nods and opens the car door for them to enter, however, the parents walk around the car and hail for an auto rickshaw. They get in and leave immediately, indicating hostility towards Abhi's behavior which took place moments before.
