So? 😆 Where else should people vent their frustrations? 😆 People in the "real world" are not presented with options. They have options like: maggots OR maggots mixed with puke. Both of them sound equally repulsive. People are tired in general of the repetitive, illogical, senseless, demeaning shows, and it is only matter of time when there begins to be a shift. Change is constant...just like Bollywood is pushing boundaries, Tellywood will (should, in fact) bet its money on challenging shows and concepts. It beats me why people get sadistic pleasure watching a woman sulk and be at the mercy of a man and her in-laws. Logic does not necessarily equate to "boring" or "preachy"...it can be presented in an entertaining manner so that viewers are satisfied. There can be drama, romance, action without taking audience's sensibilities for granted. I surely hope social media plays a key role in the change that Indian TV will see in the future and hopefully shows like Saathiya and KKB have their days numbered!

I liked the last couple of episodes. Doesn't excuse Abhi's past behaviour but at least he's not being a jerk anymore and now is trying to make amends. Not sure what to make of Aliya's 180 degree turn around. I have to say, I like Akash - he made a terrible mistake (mostly because of his horrible mother) but he's trying to make it right. If Aliya's change is real then I'm wondering if Tanu will try to frame Aliya for BB getting hit by the car (aka attempted murder). Wish they'd give Akash more lines. What's up with the uncle (Akash's dad)? He doesn't speak any lines...he's like a decorative piece or something. Anyway, especially impressed with Shikha's range of facial expressions...

I used to watch and love this show when they used to show Pragya and Bulbul as strong headed women. But then suddenly vimpy vampy tracks entered in and Pragya turned into such a belittled woman. I too had that she would turn into one, thanks to Ekta's earlier records. I used to visit this forum quite regularly back then but now I hardly do that because I hardly watch it.
I agree to one point that people plainly watch shows like KKB and SNS because they need a break from daily life. They need some entertainment to feel free of their daily groove and dramatic shows with lots of melodrama actually give them a lot of entertainment. That is why even educated and strong headed women watch it without any objections. Because it delivers plain entertainment. And thus the producer (especially Ekta Kapoor and Rashmi Sharma) never experiment with the storyline or plots.
