I don't get why Pragya still holds on to her mangalsutra and marriage despite being thrown out of Abhi's life and house.

I think she came back to the house to blast on Tannu for informing her mother about RaBul fiasco etc. Also, Tannu cheated Pragya with the letter thing and she also lied to Abhi. Pragya is pissed at her for this also.

I feel Pragya meant to say she is still married to Abhi and her relationship is recognized in the society and Abhi-Tannu's is not. She says that when Tannu starts taunting her.

I think on one hand, Pragya understands that Tannu is manipulating Abhi. That's why she has some sympathy for him in this situation. But I hope when it comes to Abhi-Pragya's personal relationship, she doesn't let this Tannu matter go easy on him.

Even if she does, I hope Abhi himself feels really guilty about it and blames himself.

I don't think anyone is saying that Abhi is not at fault. The only way I could reason Pragya's hug is that it was a moment of weakness. She knows that Abhi is still under the MU that Pragya is the reason Purab ran away. Unlike Tannu who knows that Pragya is innocent. Which is why she is more angry with Tannu. But I get your frustration, though. Pragya should get angry with him, and I hope she does.
And the scene where she talked about Abhi being her husband doesn't sit well with me but I don't think the line was meant to be posessive. I don't think she meant it. That line was intended only to slap Tannu further with words. That's the only way I can rationalize Pragya in yesterday's episode.

thanks for all your reply guys..sorry i cannot reply individually but agree with all your points..

i m not that much angry with aliya,tannu even abhi..bcoz as a characters they meant to be like this...but i hate pragya,bulbul and her mom bcoz they had struggling life.,solved all the problems individually but act like they cant stand against problems,cant take any decision,feeling marriage is every thing..how they even managed all these years?

well said pragya is most pathetic and bad written character with lot of flaws don't know how this show has got high ratings there are so many flawas in storyline also

I haven't posted on this forum before or on IF for a while but I thought maybe I could put a different spin on this.

Let's start with the hug... Pragya just saw her mother broken ( that is painful to say the least and soul destroying on a very real level) her running to Abhi was natural. Yes he talks a mean game but on a more basic level they are friends. He says one thing but his behavior is much more from the heart. He has shown nothing but respect for her mother and grandmother.

Tanu on the other hand launched a personal attack by dragging her mother into their messy situation. Pragya is not using Tanu's relationship with Abhi as a reason to attack her character but as a way of letting her know she is not defenseless. Tanu and Aliya have been using a relationship that they know the Society won't condone as tool to control Pragya. She's simply had enough.

No she's not angry with Abhi as far as she was told Tanu was the one who got her mother wound up and ultimately that's what the whole slapping business was about... Not Tanu and Abhi's relationship but Pragya's mother.

Gonna copy paste what i wrote elsewhere.
And yes it's sucha massive relief too know pp dislike theholier than tho pragya tai.
I also feel the slap was not needed. Tanu did add mirch masala to the story. But someone had to break the news to her darling pinch me not fragile mommy.

Pragya is no saint. She is as conniving as the rest. Dons an holier than tho attitude decked head yo toe. Like a fellow member said dint she reject suresh coz he loved BB? Dint she knowingly get into sucha marriage? With what right does she wanna be with abhi? Dint she know he would leave her aj nahi toh kal? Doesnt she know he was / is with tanu? So he gets to spend some quality time with a temporary wife n he falls for her? Tomorrow he spends time with another women, he's gonna fall for her too. And this woman happily wants to stay put. In the name of her delicate fragile mommy. Why abuse tanu and not abhi? But treats him n her abusive relation like god n holy. Am not able to understand what's a bigger sham for her n her mommy dear, her fake abusive marriage. Or the truth of living a dignified unmarried / being a divorcee.

Slapping tanu was right bcoz tanu had no right to tell d truth to sarla but after listening to her mahaan speech i was like u were d only one saying apko jo tanu ke sath karna ha kijiye and moreover she knew d truth before y now suddenly she is giving gyaan to tanu dat her relation is najayas and i am bahu and patni and all y now plz sumone tell her that this speech shud be given to her so called husband not tanu

Just bcoz he showed some sympathy for her mother he became all goody goody and she melted there are then

What she wants to show dat girls r so weak dat mere sympathy of 2 minutes makes dem so weak dat they forget all harsh words all insults??

gayu you know the most irritating character in kumkum bhagya is pragya !
After pragyga ,abhi and then tannu
pragya has no self respect at all ,abhi spineless man and tannu is Opportunistic
i just love bulbul's character in this show<3
