Abhi's Daadi tells Pragya once, when she talks to her about Abhi.

"Woh dil ka bahut achcha hain, bas usey samajhnewala chahiye"

Today's episode was a reflection of that.

So, he has accepted his decision that Pragya is out of his life and all ties with her are severed. But he does go to the hospital to please Daadi. Fine. But he does not want to face Pragya because he thinks he would be mad at her.

And then, there she is- distraught. Her biggest fear has come true.

And she had just thought Abhi didn't even bother to see her one last time before she left and here he is! He has come when she is in trouble!

So the girl hugs him.

And what happened when she hugged? He hugged her back, held her protectively and even assured her nothing will happen to her Maa. Not just that, he felt her pain and even got teary.

So he says, I didn't even want to see her, but I ended up hugging her.

That's the whole point. Abhi has no control over his heart. When his heart says something, he follows it blindly. He felt Pragya's pain and responded immediately. His brain totally forgot he was supposed to keep hating her.

No wonder he gets misled by Aaliyah so easily. Anything for the love of his sister.

He even tells Pragya not to look at him and he won't be fooled by her eyes anymore. Oh there he admits he is affected by her, yet again.

But Pragya gets him very clearly. Pragya gets his situation so well. She knows him.

As much as he misunderstands her, she understands him.

That's why she tells Tannu, Abhi is her husband. She knows what Tannu is for Abhi and what Abhi is for Tannu. She knows the superficiality of their relationship. She knows Abhi will stand by his "husband" commitment to her. Love or not, Pragya wants to protect him. She wants to be there for him too.

And he is there for her no matter how much he doesn't want to.

So, it's all about Abhi's heart and Pragya's understanding of it.

Like Daadi said, his heart is good, just that one needs to understand it.

Who better than Pragya?

She understands him and trusts him and does not know why

He likes her and finds her cute and truthful and does not show it he supresses it with all excuses !!

Abhi always showed glimpses of the Abhi Dadi told Pragya about. That Sweater thing, his connection with Rockstar Dadi. I guess, after those instances even Pragya believed Dadi's words. May be thats why she has so much Vishwas on her relationship. And may be, like Suresh hinted, she might have fallen for Abhi without knowing.

What a rocking post! Completely agree with you..

Abhi reminds me of a child who just loves.. and when he loves, he lves completely be it his sister or his daadi.. he definitely is affected by Pragya, he likes annoying her, he likes her presence, it'slike he likes the fact that their incompatible (They arn't but awww) and well he has definitely developed feelings for her.. maybe thats why he's so mad.. because developing feelings for Prgaya, that chashmish was not part of the plan... and he cannot control his feelings.. he's torn inside between fear of daadi's disappointment, pressure/love? for Tanu, loyalty to Aliyah and something.. just something.. a connection?, understanding? uniqueness.. something that cannot be said for Pragya 😳

Pragya is lovely.. pragmatic and understanding.. her being able to understand Abhi is one of the strongest features of her character.. she definitely sees different shades to him, an over-protective brother, a loving grandson, a caring persona towards her own mother and is pleasantly surprised.. it reinforces daadi's words of Abhi being good from the heart but needing someone to understand him.

Lovely post!

So here's my question - how long before he understands her heart? Forget that, how long before he even tries to understand her heart? Because he isn't really doing either of those things right now (not if he's still blaming her for everything and shirking all personal responsibility in this mess).

I don't expect you to have the answers to my frustrations, Tia, BTW. I believe you share some of them with me. It's more about the writers and their slow-as-snails plot. 😆 C'mon already.

She definitely has a soft corner for him in the direction of love.

Yes, the plan has seriously gone wrong!! He would become more and more of a mess in the coming days. And I will love to see him like that.

He needs someone who does not manipulate him for his/her own gain. That's why Pragya is in his luck. And he will give that lovely heart to her in return.
