Chapter -2 Blooming buds

It was around 3:45 in the morning when Aliya woke up, to find herself asleep in Pragya's lap. Pragya was asleep in a very uncomfortable pose. The minute Aliya got up, Pragya got up as well. She put on the lights to find Abhi and Akash sleeping in a sitting posture waking up and in few moments on their toes. Pragya felt her legs numb as she stayed in the posture for a long time and she stumbled only to be caught by Aliya, Abhi and Akash...

Pragya however backed away from all the three and slowly limped back into her room not realizing the pain Abhi felt...

Abhi wanted nothing but help her as she did for his sister, but her refusing his help made him feel really hurt.

2 days later:

Aliya and Akash fought on something while Abhi and Taiji walked back. They stopped in the dress store as Taiji picked up dresses for herself.

Tai-"Akash, Aliya how is this?"

A sequel of laughter make their heads turn towards Pragya being dragged by a girl ..

Pragya-"Ashu relax I won't run away"

Ashu-"Common Bhabhi we have lot of work"

Aliya felt a slight pang hearing someone else calling Pragya her Bhabhi

The Mehra's watched on as Pragya begin to pick out dresses and and kept t on Ashu..

Pragya-"Ye color nahi... Yhe...no achha nahi hain. Putting out 5 dresses ..

Ashu-"How about this ..?" keeping a pink Anarkali which had works with golden threads..

Pragya-" Umm..we need matching jewelry anyhow.."

Ashu-"But I have it already"

Prag-"It is purple remember..."

It was then that a guy who was extremely good looking walked towards them..

Guy-"Ashu... from when did you?" and stopped as both Pragya and Ashu glared at him...

Even as time went by. Pragya was choosing a lot for Ashu and the guy was watching them lovingly at both of them..

The Mehra siblings felt the green eyed emotion called Jealousy. Aliya suddenly saw herself being pampered by Pragya ..

Pr-"Aliya look at this it looks so better on you..."

Al-"I feel this colour will look better on you.."

Abhi did not know why but he wanted just to be the only one gazing at Pragya like that. He wanted Chashmish to do things like that only for his sister and him..

Towards the end of the so called shopping spree Pragya sat exhausted in the food court beside Aliya..

Akash looked hesitant but asked-"Bhabhi who were they?" out of curiosity..Pragya looked at them all and knew all wanted an answer to the very same question.

P-"Who.."

Guy-"Pari.."

Pragya looked up..

Guy-"Here you go, your milk shake.."

Pragya took it and smiled..

Pragya waited and sent of the guys.. The question remained unanswered..

One week later

Things had settled down and the media caught up with the affair of a business man from the town. Aliya was changing steadily as Akash and Abhi spent more time with her. In This one week Pragya was busier than ever with forms, papers and phone calls but she made sure that Aliya ate, slept and everything else..

Abhi walked into the room to see a bunch of papers which had the Government seal on it.He picked it up and as he read through the papers, he was shocked and felt betrayed by life..

Pragya walked out of the shower, her hair wet .She looked up to see Abhi. Abhi walked up to her in trance .As he neared her she took a step forward, only to stumble on the carpet and she fell front. She shut her eyes and braced herself for the fall but it never came. Abhi caught her and pulled her into a hug.

Pragya-"Abhi you can let me go. You know.."

Abhi looked down at her and in a instant reacted according to his heart and kissed her.. Pragya was stunned at the totally unexpected movement made by her so called husband. One minute he was holding her and the next instant kissing her. It was the softest kiss ever as Abhi just pressed his lips onto hers and sucked them lovingly. He felt Pragya's resistance slowly coming down and he pulled her closer to him. He wrapped his hands around her waist and his hands began to run on her back.

The shrill ring of the telephone brought them to reality as Pragya pushed Abhi away with all her might.

Pragya-"What the hell was that ?"

Abhi-"What the hell are these papers for Huh?"

Pragya -"None of your concern"

Abhi-"It is of my concern Chasmish..."

Pragya-"You have no right to know it"

Abhi-" I am your husband Dammit..."

Pragya-" No you are not my husband"

The whole family was standing shocked to see Pragya like that. She looked too furious.

Pragya instantly calmed herself and spoke-"Our marriage was only for 1 year remember and I don't wish to stay longer..."

A dozen hearts broke...

awesome update yaar... who is the new guy and what was written in the documents?? is it for divorce? will be eagerly waiting for the next update...
