What does Pragya want to do with her marriage?

I love Abhi the most among all these characters, but I want him to pay big time for the wedding night. He might have done it under the MU, but still what Pragya had to face- Oh Dear, I can't get over that.

So, if Pragya has this soft corner for him, then he will totally use it to turn the tables and say, you too hid the truth from me dear? It will make his guilt and suffering a bit less.

That's one of the reasons why I don't want him to get this feel that Pragya is there for him.

Completely agree with you Tia. I am a shabz fan & watching it only for him but i don't want Pragya to reciprocate to him quickly once he starts feeling for her. I want her to give him hard time so he realize her worth.

I feel this love story can be developed even without Pragya being a good wife to Abhi. I think that would be even better if Abhi can recognize the real Pragya with MU and without her doing something nice for him.

I also want Pragya to fall in love, get attracted to him before she starts caring for him just because she wants to play a good wife.

She hiding the truth doesnt make any sense to me...saving bb hw? Abhi marrying bb? Or they trying to kill her or smething heck there is nothi.g frm which she needs to save bb...if she was trying to save rabul relation it would have made sense bt she dint tell bb abt purabs truth nd evn asked him to move onn..so other than stupidity there is no specific reason for her to hide d truth!

As for prags doing things its in her nature nd she would have done d same if it was smeoneelse too:-) bt gesterday when abhi was koo chi kooing with chudail she was hurt wonder why?

So far there is no soft corner or any such feeling in Pragya's mind for Abhi. All I could detect is a huge indifference towards him on her part. She has no choice but be nice to him in her house as he is after all a guest. Even in the coffee scene she seemed annoyed when her mother gestured her to go make it for him. Her entire family was fussing over him because of a headache so she must have felt getting it made his Daadi's way will cure it and put an end to all the drama. And I didn't detect any smiles from her, (that's one thing she has not done in Abhi's presence so far 😆) she just looked annoyed and sort of begrudgingly took his acknowledgement just as he gave it.

She doesn't even bother about Tannu being in Abhi's life but she is put off with their open PDAs, and I'm sure its not just Pragya even any of us would get annoyed by any couple making a spectacle of themselves in front of us.

As for what she wants from this marriage...absolutely nothing. This is a girl who had sworn to stay single but was again forced into a marriage because of her mom, and now its only for the sake of her mom and sis she's continuing with this farce of a marriage and its not like she didn't try to come back. After 2 major breakups and numerous other rejections she is just numb to the whole circus of love and relationships. She is practical so she is just trying to work out her new life. So far for her Abhi is just a nuisance to bear with. She's accepted her fate as it is but like she has already made it clear she is not going to take any nonsense from him lying down. For the sake of family she has to put up appearances, but for her personally she is just indifferent towards this marriage.

Is it just me that doesn't feel that Pragya is the typical doormat wife?

I feel that she is capable of taking a stand when she wants to but she doesn't really have any expectations of this marriage so she isn't taking a stand. She doesn't want to get in between Tannu and Abhi because she knows that this marriage is forced on both her and Abhi's behalf.

Also, she doesn't like him enough to feel possessive or jealous...instead she tolerates him and gets happy when left alone.

What I do like about her though is the calm and collected way she answers Abhi back when alone. She is not the type to yell at him in front of everyone but she does do that when alone. I feel this is also because she has to maintain the facade with him of being the perfect couple.

Lastly, as of why she takes care of him...well I think that is because she has always been the elder sister that takes care of everyone. So far she has done things to maybe not to please him but so that he doesn't get any further irritated. Because lets face it, at the end of the day, she is the victim and she knows it.

Sure, she does have the small smile when he acknowledges her coffee but maybe that was her "ha-in-your-face" moment.

Just shows how alike AbhiGya really are. You can compare Pragya's caring attitude to Abhi. He hates his wife and is in this marriage only for revenge, yet he doesn't try to humiliate Pragya or make his annoyance known in front of her family. Now why does he have to do that? Pragya at least has a reason, but he's not obliged to be on his best behaviour. Its not as if his in-laws would complain to his Daadi. He doesn't care for Pragya so why bother about what her folks would think? Well its just that on the inside he's a good-hearted guy who doesn't really like unnecessarily hurting people no matter what he thinks of them. Well that's the same case with Pragya, she has always been helpful and caring as a person so those instincts just came out regardless whether it was for a person she doesn't like.

Exactly. Why?

Abhi has not given her one good reason to have a hope. In fact, he has done the worst possible things to hurt a wife. And given his open fling with his girlfriend, it's degrading for Pragya to even consider the guy.

But why is she being nice to him? She has started caring about him. She made digestive jal jeera for him so that he doesn't get an upset stomach. Aaj toh had ho gayi. She made his special flavoured coffee beating Daadi to it. Why?

Out of humanity; she is a nice person. Not doing it would make her an asshole and just like Abhi. Even doctors help the worst of the worst. I saw nothing wrong there in helping him and she made the coffee not as competition but because she was a nice person. Simple.

But then, since she is hiding the truth from Abhi that she is not Purab's girlfriend and that she is not a gold digger girl, isn't she allowing him to go further in his decision to hurt her? And what will happen when he knows the truth? Wouldn't he think she played him along especially if he falls in love with her?

Here the writers are horribly weak and do not provide the viewer with a decent reason; the best reason would be to protect her sister but the writers want her to assume her fate and accept it as a marriage that she will need to abide by for the rest of her life to please her family which is a rather boring reason. Her silence is also bothersome.

Abhi is a sucker for some tender love and care. He will invariably fall for her if she keeps on caring like this!

Isn't this hiding the truth a big complication for their love life later? We might see a whole track on this!

Anyways, I don't exactly get her stand on this marriage.

I would much rather have seen her say the minute she knew, how she was going to get of the marriage without harming anyone. I would have respected her so much if she had done something respectful rather than accept her fate. A stronger female lead would have tried to figure a way to get out of the marriage.
