" thank god , he slept " pragya thought and opened the cupboard to remove her blanket
" its not your mistake " abhi said
She was shocked and turned to see him all awake
PART 2
" aap ?? sooye nai ??"she asked
" unfortunately no , you were waiting right ?" he asked
" for what ??" pragya asked
" for me to sleep " abhi answered
" nai , aisa kuch bi nai hai " pragya lied
" really ?" abhi asked
" abhi ... mere matlab abhishek ..." Pragya started but stopped as he kep his index finger on her lips
" shhh , call me abhi chasmeesh" he said huskily
She was shocked
" do you really think that what ever has happened is your mistake ??? pragya I know the intensity of crime I have done with you , I know ki I cant be forgiven , but I want to know why are you blaming yourself ? and for what ?" abhi asked
" aap kya keh rehe hain , I don't know , aap gaye nai aaj " pragya questioned him back
" kahaan ?" abhi asked
" aapki girl friend wait kar rahi hogi right ?? you should be there now " pragya answered coolly
" you really want me to go there ?" abhi asked
" see abhi , I mean abhishek , I know that you are aware of the truth , I know you are feeling guilty , but you know what , I don't need your sympathy , infact I don't need anybody's sympathy , I am not a stupid charity that everyone finds it easy to just sympathise with me , do you understand ??? you better understand " pragya said angrily and tried to walk
But he stopped her and pulled her into his arms
" what are you doing ?" she asked angrily
He slowly removed her specs and saw her tears
" who broke your heart darling ?" he asked
" you " she said immediately
" are you happy now ??? just let go of me and go to your tanu , I am sure she will be blaming me for the mess " pragya said and tried to push him
" you love your neighbour right ?" abhi questioned
Pragya was shocked , she looked directly into his eyes
" you know what , you are pathetic " pragya said and continued to push him away
" you really think you don't deserve love ? you really think you are not beautiful enough to be loved by someone ? are you serious ?" abhi asked
" I said nothing of the sort " pragya denied
" your eyes told me " abhi answered coolly
" just leave me , please " pragya requested
" its my mistake and not yours " abhi said softly and wiped her tears
" just stop your sympathy " pragya yelled
" what is your mistake ? tell me ? you married me thinking that purab loves me , you love tanu , you live with her and I ? I am your trophy wife , you never wanted to marry me , exactly what is your mistake ??" she yelled and pushed him away
" you know what I dreamt all my life ??? I had always dreamt that I would love my husband wholeheartedly , I will always stand by him in all his ups and downs , I will be his best friend and so on ... See where I am standing , I am your wife , you love tanu , what is my mistake or in that case what is your mistake , I have been cheated by my fate always , its not your mistake , its mine " she wiped her tears and gave a short laugh
" you think my marriage was broken once right ? its twice ? pehle baar bharaati laut kar chale gaye kyunki dhahej kam pad gaya aur suresh , he never loved me , I am used to it , I am happy that all has been sorted , now purab can go to his love , you go to tanu and I'll be by myself " pragya repeated his words
Abhi smiled at her and walked to her
" pragya..." he started
" please , I beg you , just let it go , I have no expectation from my life , and you cant change anything by feeling guilty , can you ?" she cried
" can you love me ? can you talk to me like you talk to tanu ? can you give me the respect every wife deserves ? no na ? then what is the point in talking this ? you cant give me what I want ? infact I have realised that I am not a person who has the rights to dream , I have realised that my life is this and it will be this no matter what ? so please keep your sympathy to your self , its not your mistake " she said and bent down and took the bedsheet and went to the balcony
Abhi wiped the tears that came out of his eyes " god what sort of human being am I ?" he thought
" pragya, you are tired , you sleep on the bed , I'll sleep on the floor " abhi offered
" no , I am fine " pragya said coldly
She was very tired of pooja , the truth , the conversation with abhi , so she drifted off quickly
Abhi went to her and smiled at the way she slept , she didn't remove her specs
So he quietly removed her specs without disturbing her , and slowly lifted her and took her to his bed and tucked her in the bedsheet , he increased the ac temperature to 22 as she was not used to sleeping is such cold temperature
He smiled at her and said " I am sorry pragya , I don't know what to say ? but I know that what you think about yourself is not true , you are flawless and you should know that , and I will make you realise that you are not worthless , I will make you realise that you are special , suresh was right , I am very lucky to have you , I promise , I wont hurt you again , and from now on I will rectify all the mistakes I have done , you will get what ever you dream and that's my promise " abhi said and stood up and called tanu
" hello tanu , I am done with you , we are no more in this relation and I think we cannot be friends , I am sorry if I have hurted you ever , I hope you understand " abhi disconnected immediately and switched off his phone
He knew it was not done , tanu would show her dramas and aaliya will also support her , but he was prepared for everything
He looked at his sleeping wife
" I have to apologise to purab too " he thought
" I promise you pragya , maine cheezon ko bhigada hai aur main hi sab kuch teek karoonga " abhi sweared and sat on couch looking at pragya
He had to rectify many of his mistakes , but he knew she would support him no matter what
the end
