i think she used to wear maxis? i don't remember any pragya in bedwear scenes, but that's what sarla wears. that loose, high-necked ankle-length style of night dress/house clothes.
(yeah, that's the one! So, that's what it is called as! maxis? Thanks)
as for this new turn with prags thinking about whether she loves abhi...her falling in love out of gratitude is going to be miserable to watch, but i think that's where it's going. it's so true that she's a mature woman and one act of kindness shouldn't capture her heart. but she's also immensely vulnerable to anyone doing something good for her, given all the rejection she's faced in life. i don't think the cvs have any satisfying character reason for pragya falling first, it's just more convenient/more conventional. but nonetheless i can see some elements of her backstory that make it make sense for me.

Yes, which is why I am annoyed. Is that who she is? That's all it takes? For someone to show one act of kindness and she falls for him? I get that he's done her huge favor but if she falls for him for this, then I just can't see it as love. I would've liked if she respected him and seen him in a better light. I don't actually mind that. Because even though Abhi is her husband but emotionally he is connected to Tannu. So she is in love with someone despite knowing that he belongs to someone else. Sorry, but that's how I see it. That's why I wanted Abhi to fall first. It's just sad that she keeps putting her heart out there and eventually gets it broken. I just don't want her to get hurt. Wasn't the first time with Suresh is enough?

I think the writers were seeking a reason for Pragya's willingness to leave. They need a reason big enough to overshadow her reason for staying before, namely her fragile mother. Initially I thought the reason would be an illegitimate baby which I thought was unique and interesting and said a lot about Pragya that she knew her boundaries. But I guess instead it's that she wants Abhi to be happy because she loves (cares for? feels obligated to?) him.

I'm curious to see if the writers follow through and actually have her leave though.

Exactly!!!! When she might feel something for him and he might also soften and just when she trusts him in a lovey dovey way tanu drama might happen ?

And she decides to leave ?

Pragya is not in "love" love. Promo is more or less a hint on where things are going. Pragya does feel positive emotions now for Abhi. She knows him and she of course appreciates what he did for her and family- which actually speaks something about his emotions for her given how he hates her. She knows he doesn't hate her in reality because she told him his hate is his "majboori".

The fact that she is vulnerable, always has been the one to be turned down by men is also something here. Abhi physically fought for her, protected her. She never had man protect her, care for her. She had no dad. She had no brother. Suresh was a disappointment at a romantic level.. don't even talk about the men who had brought rishtas earlier.

I just question the choice to do this. I would have bought Pragya leaving because she didn't want an innocent baby to feel the repercussions of her choices and her majboori. I find her sudden rush of love (care? obligation?) not entirely believable. More than that, I'm disappointed by it for the reasons others have stated. I'm also disappointed because as her feelings progress, he gets trapped under more and more MUs, not allowing his feelings to go anywhere. It's pretty ridiculous.

I don't necessarily need equivalency in the story at all times. But the semblance of some parity at some point would be nice.

I am completely fine if she has a soft spot for him, respect etc. Just not love. At least not until they show us evidently that he legitimately feels something for her too. I don't want Pragya to be in love with someone who doesn't reciprocate her feelings. She can leave the house to give space for Tannu and the 'baby' without actually feeling for him in a romantic way. It can be out of gratitude or some small friendship bonded in between. But I guess things are heading towards the other way. I will watch and see how are things going to work out. But if the writers hurts Pragya's feelings again, 😡!!!

@bold Right!! A real love story is about appreciating who the other person is. Not what they do for you. Would have loved to see this for AbhiGya and I hope that in the long run, we do see the development of an underlying bond that's about who they are as people rather than what they've experienced together. But I think in general the story will be event-driven, and whatever love/connection develops between AbhiGya will be dependent on and affected by the exigencies of the situation rather than about, you know, actual love.

Why does it matter that he belongs to someone else? I don't see how that would stop her from falling in love. I mean she would tell herself not to since he's unavailable, but the heart wants what it wants. Love isn't rational.

It is progression in a way, who knows this soft spot thing may lead to more ? And from both sides?
