Renukha, night gown is supposed to be sexier and revealing compaed to anarkali suits.

The cotton suits she wears to sleep aren't that uncomfy actually. A lot of people in India do wear cotton suits to bed.

But the one she used to wear before she got married were pretty decent, right?
Like they weren't really revealing? Or do they have some other name for that?😆

It just feels like too much clothing to wear at night. If I have to wear more than shorts and a tshirt/tanktop, I feel like I'm suffocating.

Haven't watched it yet! Either way I don't want it to be going on Pragya's way. 😉

OMG! Tell me about it!😆
I mean I don't expect Pragya to wear shorts or anything but maybe like a long decent nightdress so she can sleep comfortably. It's bad enough that most of the time, she is sleeping on the floor or outside the balcony. I just want her to sleep in a much comfortable manner. Even the costume managers are ill treating her. I've seen Bulbul and Purvi wearing some cute PJ's. Even Sarla has sleeping clothes.

😆 Pragya is everyone's victim. Poor girl. And totally agree with you. Give me something, writers! You give her a terrible mother? Fine. You make her romantic life a total distaster where no one ever reciprocates her feelings? Fine. She's not allowed to have any dignity or self respect? Fine.

GIVE HER SOME GOOD CLOTHES THEN! (at the very least for sleeping) 😡 😆

Lol.. I think it's about the dupatta!
Remember how she always wants to cover her chest with dupatta.. I mean she would never walk around without dupatta if Abhi is there. Not that her dupatta actually covers much, but it's symbolic and cultural.
Night gowns won't have dupatta.

Remember that moment she covers herself with a dupatta when Abhi walks back into the room? Again, her suit does not reveal anything, but yet she covers!

i think that's the reason too. and it's giving me fun story ideas :P

i think she used to wear maxis? i don't remember any pragya in bedwear scenes, but that's what sarla wears. that loose, high-necked ankle-length style of night dress/house clothes.

as for this new turn with prags thinking about whether she loves abhi...her falling in love out of gratitude is going to be miserable to watch, but i think that's where it's going. it's so true that she's a mature woman and one act of kindness shouldn't capture her heart. but she's also immensely vulnerable to anyone doing something good for her, given all the rejection she's faced in life. i don't think the cvs have any satisfying character reason for pragya falling first, it's just more convenient/more conventional. but nonetheless i can see some elements of her backstory that make it make sense for me.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Yeah, I remember during the morning after drunk scene she slightly freaked out that her dupatta was on the bed and not on her instead. Maybe when they finally get together where she can be more comfortable around him, she can wear sleeping clothes and stuff.

Dupatta=izzat (respect) in my culture back home.
It's kind of regressive in a way, nevertheless...
