Actually this track they are showing has nothing to do with the novel. Even in the book there was no particular character who believed in true love except for the younger sister but even her belief gets shattered when she is cheated on. But yeah the only couple to get back together in the novel was Edward-Elinor which in this case is Abhi-Pragya

I am bored of the same old revenge hate marriage where the hero falls down to great depth that we almost start hating him before realising his mistake and the female bears everything for some family member or other..I was hoping against hope for a stronger and a slightly more equal female lead but I guess that was too much to hope for

I see a lot of scope for Abhi's character. The more he does all this atrocious stuff, the more he will get to repent. And the more he hates Pragya, the more confused he will grow because what he will see of her will be different than what he believes.
And finally he has to go through this maha shock of knowing the truth when he will want to kick himself.

Pragya- I hope she gets to fight Abhi with equal fervour. I am extremely interested in seeing how Pragya will fall for Abhi.. She was never shown to feel much romantic about Suresh.. so, I love to see that side of Pragya;s character with Abhi. I know how Abhi will fall, but clueless about Pragya.

oh I seriously hope its more a battle of equals..its no fun to see one doing all atrocities and other quietly bearing even if they are awesome actors

and then the same old..realising the mistake and falling in love out of regret/guilt..and the female lead ..every forgiving human that she is ...melts in a couple of episodes

Ooh Shabbir can do romnce very well..whatever bits and pieces of Kayamath I have seen.he was top notch in them

The only way Abhi will respect Pragya will be if she does not take this MU quietly.

If she shows that she knows and accepts her fate with dignity and refuses to take any verbal abuse and stays strong on her decision, then Abhi will first know that she is not a pushover and there is something more to her than being a money hungry woman.

Equally Pragya has to realize that Abhi did what he did out of misguided love for his sister and was manipulated by Aliya unknowingly.

Then they will have a basis to know and understand that both deep down are nice people but had to come to be married for reasons of their own and now have to be civil

maybe then they will have time to observe each other without prejudice.
