Yeah I'm sure thats who he was modeled on. But I actually found his character highly entertaining with all that righteous outrage against the whole "system" and all that 😆 and I felt both him and Pragya shared a warm relationship. No shipping here, just liked the way their friendship was portrayed.

I guess maybe he likes her (though again you can't say as according to the book its the younger sis this character was interested in) and maybe Pragya is interested in him just for the sole reason that they share the same interests and thoughts and understand each other so well. I don't think for her, at this point, feelings count as she is very practical and all about "agar soch milte hai then automatically you'll fall in love", silly girl 😆.

The last scene I think it was basically a mix of feelings going through her mind maybe the sadness of what happened coupled with her conversation with him in the college, that he was too late in asking her. So maybe she might be wondering whether he was the right one for her eventually.

I agree age-wise he does look older especially since I remember reading somewhere that they were classmates once upon a time 🤔. But if Ekta is actually following the book then one of the main heroes is actually an older man. At least be relieved that he isn't as old as how the character was depicted in the book 😉

Hey, Kiran, good to see you here despite you being busy 😊. Agree, Sriti looked gorgeous in the 1st episode. But yaar, the looks issue was mainly used as an excuse by the ladke wale to get dowry by hook or by crook. They must have seen how Bulbul is more smarter and modern and sort of equated that to "beauty" while Pragya was more bookish, quiet and wore glasses. It is just to highlight society's perceptions of looks and beauty which is really absurd. And its not about Sriti but Pragya. Pragya is supposed to be an associate professor with a double MA which would definitely put her age somewhere in the late 20s, so her being 29 is not off the mark. Its just the character which is perceived to be less attractive than the sister (but she is definitely not!) and nothing to do with Sriti herself.

I think they tried to make it more realistic by showing Suresh as a very ordinary average looking guy. Plus maybe instead of a much older guy as per the book, Ekta went down this track of not making him too old but make him as ordinary as possible.

Hi rachna :) our first meeting in KB forum. Regarding Suresh Pragya relation. I think its pure friendship. They understand each other. Suresh is senior proffessior to Pragya he may studied in the same school with her. Thats why they have good understanding but I think its not love from both side. But just wait, may be m wrong.

Hey Ruchi, yup our very 1st meeting here 😊. Even I think its the same, pure platonic friendship, which is why it seems like a lovely bond.

Don't know much about Suresh, maybe he might have feelings, maybe not, but I think for Pragya its not love at all. I'm certain that girl understands nothing about love. She only sees him as a nice match based on their similarities. No love anywhere.
