In an ideal (or maybe even real world) yes they should and would be together but in the world of soaps, that too Ekta soaps, anything is possible 😆.

As far as heroes go I hated Edward Ferrars, he just seemed like a weaker version of Elinor and someone who didn't grow a backbone when it was most needed. When I first heard Ekta was adapting S&S and Sriti was going to be Elinor, I was actually in dread 😳. I didn't find the whole Elinor-Edward story appealing in the least, even though they were similar in many ways. Ekta has just twisted it and added a rock star as one of the main leads, possibly opposite Pragya's character surprisingly, and for that alone I'm curious how their relation will play out.

Even I really liked Suresh. If nothing else, he is at least a warm and highly entertaining character 😊. Ideals/views/compatibility wise they seem well-matched but its too early to start shipping any jodis 😉.

Don't know much about Suresh, maybe he might have feelings, maybe not, but I think for Pragya its not love at all. I'm certain that girl understands nothing about love. She only sees him as a nice match based on their similarities. No love anywhere.

I'd have to agree. I HATED Edward loser, erm, Ferrars myself. I generally hate Austen's pairings, except for Darcy-Lizzie ( of course) and the actual couple who made sense, Anne and Wentworth. Elinor was too precious to be wasted on a loser like Ferrars. I believe Abhi has been modelled on Willoughby. And I for one, loved the confrontation scene between him and Elinor in the book. I have always thought Elinor should have been with someone opposite to bring out the passionate side of her nature. Marianne, on the other hand, needed someone similar. Colonel Brandon was too different. Thankfully, they are pairing up both the sisters with interestingly opposite men. That alone should make for an interesting watch.
