OK, generally everyone's teddy memory is of childhood or spouse/fianc/bf gifting a teddy.

now here is mine..

well as a kid or teenager, I was never into teddys.. yes, my dad did bring a big brown teddy for me, when I was a kid.. I just played with it for a few days maybe, n then forgot abt it..

in fact, when during childhood and teenage my friends told me they still play with teddy and sleep with their teddies hugging them, I used to say to myslf, 'how silly'😆😆😆

Now, my second job was at a BPO. it was a totally different atmosphere from my first job.. within 10 days of joining and starting the training, it was my birthday.. and though we started bonding wonderfully as a team, I was still not very comfy with being so open n all.. in short I was still trying to adjust in the new environment..

simultaneously there was a fear of being told tht u r not fit for our company (since we had not yet got our appointment letters, and a few people were being asked to leave on every single day toil then..)

so when I arrived there on my birthday and the trainer sternly told me to wait outside and dint allow me inside the training room, I was sure I lost the job... throughout the 15 mins of the waiting in the reception, I was trying hard to not cry .. becoz I was loving the place n dint want to leave it..

Anyways after 15 mins I was sternly called and lo!! Surprise!!! they started celebrating my birthday !! decorations, cakes and what not!

I was speechless..

they gave me many cards, gifts, etc... one of them a big white teddy.. all day, we have great fun with the teddy.. all gals were trying to snatch my teddy, saying he is my bf n prefers me, etc😆😆😆 oh god.. it was just crazy the way we all fought over it and all snatched it n cuddled n kissed it.. I can laugh over it till today .. its 7-8 years since..

and guess what, for the next abt 6 months or so.. I did something which I found v v silly earlier.. I kept my teddy on my bed and cuddled it when I slept..😳

and that entire group is still in contact with me on whatsapp n we still tease each other abt the teddy. needless to say, I still have that teddy😃
