But I have promises to keep,

Today really feel like this , sometimes the task so uphill , that one wishes to rest and not go on , then I remember this lovely poem , and try and take heart , and work through a another day ,

I am just being pessimistic because have to fight with the administration about lots of things , and am really tired of fighting , it's so easy to just give up but the Scorpio in me does not let me do that ,

Anyway to get to a happier note will t

Dr. Babs... love this poem, it is one of my favorites. I read in high school but have not forgotten it till now, one of those things that stays on...😃

As to your post, We all experience similar situations... There seems no end to fighting odds & struggling For me too, I work very hard & very sincerely (for even the smallest things) & everytime I wish, now things should get settled but life takes 180 degree turn and again I have to fight and make things work. Usually it happens that the success I get after all this becomes meaningless coz there doesnt remain any charm--I lose all excitement about that achievement. But still I am always happy... Taking life the way it comes & enjoying!! 😃

As U said, its very easy to escape, but most of the times, we cannot even escape coz we have to fight for betterment of our lives, our families members' happiness. So no escaping, but moving on with new energy & enthusiasm & keep working hard coz there's no alternative to hard work!! And of course, always smiling; no complaints 😃
