The long talk that Deepu and Ashu were having brought a smile on to DD's face...he was in a land of his own, imagining - Ashu in a hurry to go to the hospital - asking Deepu- mera woh blue file kahan hai? jise mein kal study kar raha tha.

In another scene he imagined Ashu and Deepu enjoying in the beach ...with their daughters building quaint lil castles. ...

Dubey's imagination went on until he was awoken by Deepu's voice- "Bade papa khane ke liye aa jayiye"

The meal was a vegetarian mini feast of sorts...everything tasted divine,,,,palak paneer, shahi mushroom...muthiya( not of Methi though)...and bagare baingan (taught by a friend from Hyderabad)...

Ashu couldn't contain his smile as he saw bagare baingan...his expression of joy brought yet another smile of satisfaction on DD's face ...the way to a man's heart was through his stomach ...wasn't it.

If DD was plotting an alliance then could his shishya' be far behind? He wanted to arrange an accidental meeting of Deepu and Armaan ...before taking the issue forward with DD...he tried to probe Deepu further to ensure her suitability .

Ashu could imagine sehra on Armaan's head...his attempts to hide his chuckles were noted with great satisfaction by DD...

He itched to share this news with Nidhi but then got scared of jinxing the alliance-- let me first get it officially fixed. Till then I have to continue contact with Deepti so that she would consider my recommendation favourably.

Deepti got a sweet shock when Ashu asked for her number...it was not everyday that a man would dare to ask for her number...but Ashu wasn't the kind of guy she would mind giving her number to. ...she willingly parted with her number in exchange for his number.

Ashu extended them an invitation to visit his house after baba's return...DD accepted it with a glint in his eyes.

After Ashu left the neighbour's radio boomed- Zaroorat hai zaroorat hai zaroorat hai, ek shrimati ki kalavati ki...

DD smiled at the appropriateness of the time and teased Deepti by replacing Kalavati with Deepti .

"Bade papa aap bhi na-- abhi humne haan bhi nahin kaha aur aap shuru ho gaye."
