for me, this is the best dialogue of the chapter Shirley. This tells a lot about the Ashutosh of your story. he has never been in love before and knows that Mallika loves him. According to him, friendship and respect are fantastic starting points of marriage and he assumes the rest like passion, desire etc would soon follow. and he is comfortable enough to share all this with Mallika. He is not trying to hide and tell her i am falling for you etc.
Not only she was a topper in L.L.B., but I also assure you that she is a very coherent & logical thinker and I am sure would make a brilliant lawyer give the right training – she has immense potential to make you and your firm proud. And finally, she always lives upto a challenge. All you need to bring out the best in her is to challenge her.
this is the side of Nidhi that we haven't seen so far in this FF. Good that you brought it out through Solanki. Otherwise readers would know only one side of the coin. Pampered, spoilt yet has potential. she is an intelligent sharp girl who just looks for an easy way out. hmmm..interesting.
