Bye bye Dr.Ashu...

If everything falls in place, we may meet you agaian in Season 2.

From the day I have seen the "Aahat and Hichkichahat" promo to sending "I love You" SMS, Ashu has progressed alot... I should call it character progression or transformation??

Tall, handsome and brooding Ashu has transformed himself into a Romantic husband who can understand his fun loving wife and make her feel happy.

As an author backed role and a memorable one, Ashu 's character is close to lot of us. This show has successive role in getting away from the stereotype TV characters and tracks like saas-bahu saga, illegal children, n number of marriages etc. A big bow to Sony for supporting and patronizing a show which could break the most common myths on TV.

I know Nidhi along with Ashu only makes it complete but never I felt Nidhi so special. For me Nidhi is like most of the female lead characters on tellyworld. Bubbly, chirpy, easy going and naughy girl who stands for what is right.

The way Ashu used to react like a human being but not like a telly hero used to amaze me. This realistic touch makes this character so special. When we expect him to be a knight in shining armour, he actually sits in one corner and cries with his insecurities.

Only for Ashu, people have managed to sit through some of the experiments done on the show. Ashu has cast a spell on all of us that we started reacting to his happiness and sadness as if he is our own family member. Very few characters connect with viewers like this.

At the end of it, now if I think, I really do not feel the pain of all the absurd tracks. I understand that when you are trying something which is different and unusual, its very much acceptable to make these kind of mistakes. (Should I call these stupid tracks mistakes?) when I stand at the end of the road today and try to view, I know that while making this new road, so many times, CVs have went in the wrong paths which is very much acceptable because you are breaking the age old myths.

Apart from Ashu, the KTLK forum also makes this journey so special for me. I made new friends and understood to view things objectively. Thank you to each and every one from the cast, crew and the forum.

Note: I know there is a alvida thread but thought of making this as a separate post. If its not to be done, DTs are free to merge this into that thread.

AF, well said! Ashu as a character has been through a huge transformation and at each stage made you connect more with him.
Was his flaws his charm, I cant say, all I know is he's no demi-god but as human as any one of us.
Never before has a character mesmerized me and I guess there's little chance of finding another character with such appeal. So hoping to see Ashu back on screen soon.

Echo your thought Ashu cast a spell because he was not a super hero , nor a bad mouthing M& B character , he was an highly intelligent , well educated , man in a high profile job ,not too forget dashingly handsome too , which all add to his persona ,plus he has his insecurities which somehow make him so much more real. You want to hug him at times to take away the pain and sometimes murder him for being so thoughtless. But a character difficult to forget, be it MB or SK both a have done a fab job personally liked Sk better

Very well said...it's Ashutosh who has fascinated me from the beginning & kept me hooked till now.And yes his not being any M&B hero but a very real character with all the insecurities & imperfections makes him all the more attractive for me!Will miss him after 28th...hope to see him soon in season-2.

@bold, golden words to depict the persona of Ashu. Being human and still creating a charm is a tough task which Ashu has done successfully.
