The forum is always abuzz with SK-KK's mindblowing portrayal of AshNi..We always admire

KPji's excellent dialogues...We criticise script writers' weird twists and turns in the story..

We are unanimous that "Saiyaan Naino Ki Bhasha" is the most beautiful title song ever...

But...

We never talked about the Director of the show,Mandar Devasthali...

I think he deserves lots of accolades from every KTLKian..

He has done a marvelous job by directing this beautiful show with so much finesse..

The credit for the charm , decency, subtlety, sophisticatedness of this show goes to Mandar..

His style of direction reminds me of great directors like Sai Paranjpye,Hrishikesh Mukherji and

Basu Chaterji...

Your views on Mandar's work please...

Most often, people forget the technicians behind the camera...thank you Neelima for recalling Mandar at this juncture,

Mandar has certainly brought a certain non-soap finesse to the show in terms of his execution of the script. The performances have been more or less uniformly sublte and the credit for this goes to Mandar. The narration has been smooth and not patchy. Yes, as a director, he could have taken a little extra care to correct the lack of logic on several occasions. Even if the writing is not his responsibility, the final product is! So, he can't be competely absolved of blame.

And yet, as captain of the ship, Mandar Devasthil certainly deserves a big round of applause for doing a creditable job amidst adversity!

Mandar Devsthali is a finest director in Marathi cinema and tv..his 'Wathalwat' and many more serials are milestone here..

Agree!He is a director of many hit marathi shows & movies(my MIL watches them)...here too he has done a good job but then KTLK's script was not consistent but yeah, some of the scenes belonged to a different class...brand ktlk written all over them.Kudos to him too for making ktlk a beautiful experience for all of us.
