what made a busy doc like me to stay up till 11pm on busy work days?? what made me join this forum and read all the posts deligently ??? what made me one of the most unromantic persons you can think of' put ashutosh"photo as my screensaver on my mobile???what made me visit madh island the place of shooting hoping to catch a glimpse on my way to the airport during my one day visit to mumbai,, time i couid not really afford to waste????what makes me feel as if i am going to miss something very precious after 28 march???? only one reason sujata--------and that is ASHUTOSH and for me ashutosh is undoutedly SHARAD ASHUTOSH KELKAR mr darcy was also my alltime favourite fictional characters TO me sharad ashutosh kelkar is our own desi mr darcy!!!!!

Jyoti, are you on twitter...please tweet the link of your comment to Sharad...someone please do it...we may not be Kamlesh Pandey or Rajan Shahi...but this comment is as valuable if not more...than any words that they never bothered to speak...he came in at a time when the show could well have sunk...MB was not an easy actor to replace,,,,but he did it with such authority and ease that he deserves every word of praise...if the show has lasted this long since then, it is thanks to him...Sharad Ashutosh Kelkar indeed!

It started with the promo's for me...had never seen KK but had always loved MB,everyday as a routine at 8 I would be in front of idiot box becoming crazy to such an extend that everything else came last...my family started calling me mad...cause my son had never seen me watching serial like this...

SK came as Dr Ashutosh I fell in love with Ashutosh yes Mr Darcy has been my fav too but Ashutosh almost similar to him Indian Darcy...

when the timings changed the addiction grew more...

about Sharad had seen him as Nahar had liked him then but not much...but as Ashutosh he stole the show...will always remember him as ashu...

not to mention the simplicity of the show for the first time we saw leads changing to nightsuits not sleeping in saree and with full make up...

not to forget the diologes written by Kamleshji...were fantastic ...

Dr Nidhi was awesome,DB,Alok Nath,Rangie,CB,chhote sarkar and Karan Wahi and last Mallika were all incredible the entire team...

many a times we all cribbed about wrongs in the show but compared to others it is much better to watch and relate too...

and I do want to a happy ending that Mr and Mrs Ashutosh are going to be parents,so that my mind rests in peace that our Ashutoshs family is complete...

Finally will miss forum a lot everybody's comments about the episodes...the OS and FFs...thank you team KTLk for giving us this show thank you Sujathaji for making this post

Ashutosh again...the man sure has fired our imagination...of course everything else that you have listed about the show hold good too,,,and yes, really hoping for a happy and positive ending to the story!

I think KTLK is the most beautiful serial I have ever seen...It has touched my heart like never

before...I started watching it from episode #50 and was hooked to it completely...then I watched

all the previous episodes on youtube...I started downloading each and every episode..I have stopped watching any other serial since then...I can't watch any other serial even now.. I am waiting only for season2..

I really find this as an extraordinary phenomenon...How can I fall so much in love with two fictional characters that they become an integral part of my life and they are in my heart 24x7...

Ashu and Nidhi, characteristicwise, are poles apart...but they are so real ..Ashu is introvert ,strict and vulnerable because of childhood history...Nidhi is chirpy,bubbly,kind-hearted at the same time strong...Their falling for each other has been depicted with so much charm,decency and subtlety...Their intense love for each other,their longing for each other is very very heart touching..Their confession of love, their separation,their reunion..At every stage I got totally involved in them... Their emotions were so genuine..The way they reacted in various situations may not be perfect or ideal.. but their genuineness had so much impact on me..Ashu and Nidhi have created a permanant place for themselves deep in my heart..

Above all, I can't resist mentioning the mindblowing potrayal of AshNi by our gorgeous SK-KK..

They had a lion's share in making this serial very,very special...Can't think of AshNi without SK-KK...

Credit must be given to the outstanding dialogs,the most beautiful title song "Saiyaan Naino ki Bhasha" , and superb direction..

All in all ,watching this show was a very enriching experience...I will cherish it forever..

And of course I will keep on watching all the downloaded episodes again and again because

I can't have enough of our adorable AshNi...

So the couple magic and the actors...this was the USP of the show for you..indeed true...they certainly deserve the lion's share of the credit for having kept the show afloat for so long!

Sujata ji,wonderful post and what a coincidence,when I saw the TOI article today,I remembered your post comparing Mr.darcy and Ashutosh and there was an article when Shaitan,SK's show premiered which addressed SK as Darcy so everyone saw the similarities.Well for me I had watched a few scenes of DK and so I just watched a few initial episodes as to how they have done it same or differently from DK<but it was not an addiction,I was ok but I think after SK's entry and KErala track I somehow got so much involved that in wednesday's episode just reading that Nidhi is not pregnant,I cried and I cried so much,I couldnt believe myself,somehow I got so much attached with this character of ashutosh that his pain started hurting me.Coming to the show,well real characterizations,beautiful dialogues ,sometimes very simple ones said a lot like when Nidhi said in her sangeet Aapke bina kuch bhi karna achcha nahin lagta,I felt as if this is the way I would want to express my love,they have most of the times kept it very simple,very believable,so like Ashu said,hum good bye nahin bolenge,waiting for season2.

Beautiful post Sujathaji. I was attracted to this at first because it was promoted as a remake of DK- it being one of my fave shows growing up decided to give it a shot and then got hooked on more to it after the replacement as it was "Nahar". Have stuck with the show because of its simplicity and the portrayal of the characters so real and of course for none other than Sharad Kelkar.

I will always remember your post of "Sharad Ashutosh Kelkar" I made my first comment in IF on that post.

So glad to have you back here.👏
