@sukirti Sadly though i may have listed out the pain... but how can we forget AshNi and our love for them ...

Oh I love them so much...

I wish for a better season 2 shown from scratch... and we start falling in love with them all over again as they start falling in love with each other...

Divya...your points are all justified but for one..

You talk of a new set of writers...you really think that is going to make a difference...I doubt...because writers do not function independently...they do not call the shots...unless there is a complete revamp of the system and an attitudinal change at every level, I am sorry but nothing is going to change...sorry if that seems harsh but this is the sad truth!

When a show is team work at the end of the day, why are you blaming only one component? If the present set of writers were found unfit or lacking in creativity, what prevented the channel or the PH from firing them and hiring a new set of writers? Writing talent is available in plenty. That is not the only problem!

I agree Sujatha... I remember discussing one scene with another member... When Mallika takes Ashu away from Nidhi in a wheelchair or even after the item song that Nidhi did and Ashu went with Mallika... A simple scene in the end to show Ashu look back longingly towards Nidhi would have changed the entire mood and we would have jumped to feel sorry for Ashu rather than butcher him. Those 2 seconds would probably made all the difference between a crappy episode to a emotional one.

So definitely it is not just the writers, the director, the editors all need the same vision on how to show what they intend to show too.

@fanktlk

I would add actors to the list, Divya...cause ultimately they are the ones bringing a script to life...if they are unable or unwilling to connect to a context, that spells disaster too...they need to figure out what works for everyone before they start planning tracks!

thats not all...actors do read the scripts and the storyline, right? when something so crappy is being dished out, why can't they put their foot down and say "NO!" ?? because ultimately, they are the ones playing out the story...their faces are the ones we see on screen...when they get the credit for the beautiful scenes and tracks, why not take at least part of the blame for the crap?

i accept the fact that we do not know the complete story of what happens behind the screens...may be the actors are not liking it, telling it out but the CVs are ignoring...but to this extent??

Sujathas... 😃

That i have wondered too... If we remembered that Ashu and BB have the same birthday, then how come the editors, the writers, the directors, the actors, the background music scorer, some one on the set should have noticed. How did it slip all?

I then remember one tweet from one of the main leads when there were complaints about the character assassination... The tweet said... " I am simply the actor not the director or the writer".

They surely want the credits and the love but refuse the responsibility if something is not right!!

"I am simply the actor not the director or the writer" but the said director and the writer have changed the whole track and storyline for one actor's decision..then why not this? why can't the leads come out and say "boss..this is crap...don't do this in the last one week." is it that they don't read the story..just the dialogues or is it that they are already disconnected with the serial and don't care any more??
