Why I hesitate to ask for a Second Season?

There were numerous posts running talking about Season 2 around and i decided to stay put.. I neither asked for one nor wished otherwise...

There are various reasons... There is no denying that it is a beautiful love story and i enjoyed ever bit of it... the actors were impressive (Be it MB, KK, SK, Alok Nath etc...each one did justice to their part) and knew how to pull all the strings of our heart.. the dialogues lingered around for months to come... the characters well defined (at one point of time) were complex and i thought they challenged my thinking..

I remember reading analysis by various other forum members to realize that it gave me an insight to understand the same situation but in a completely new prospective.

I realized that i fell in love with this serial a long time back. KTLK was my first love (for a serial) I became a fan of Ashu (Ashu for me is a combination of MB, SK and dialogues by KP)

I am here more today out of habit rather than love... And here's why...

It started in Jan last year the house track was very shoddily handled.
Aditya, Sue, Mallika, Suhasini, Mansukhani, Sandeep Bagchchi all went free
The Kerala track butchered Nidhi's character.
Ashu was butchered with Mallika's entry
Mallika was butchered as an abused woman
The kitchen politics and KTLK became like a saas bahu drama...
Mallika's attempt to kill Nidhi, Ashu asking her out of the house, and forgiving Mallika was like a trip to hell
The baby track started only to be abandoned half away...
Khushi came... and again we have that handled so badly
Then came the Amar and Ahana track along with Bajrangi and the kidnapping... I am all Whaaat??
Anji's abortion... it was shown in a day??
The CM operation, the fashion show track was a joke to say the least...
Then came Baba's tumor and Aradhana's entry with Daksh and Divya... the less i say of this the better
And now this... the pregnancy or the lack of it!!
Some meaningful and beautiful tracks were never touched... Ranji's married life, financial issues and their effect on AshNi, AshNi age- gap issues, medical backdrop remained just that a BACKDROP!!

Other than some stolen moments during Anji's wedding i don't think any track in the last 9 months was cheered by us.. We all hoped that KTLK would rise to the pinnacle it once was...

It never did.

We all love the serial for all its capabilities and potential and we spent close to 9 months remembering and reminding ourselves why we love the serial. We all hoped and watched in anticipation that now the CV's would redeem the characters and now they will do justice to the actors, their capability, their chemistry.

They never did...

In this do we really need a Season 2 a new story handled similarly or God forbid and extension of this one??

There is more creativity is flowing here than anywhere else.

The same story has been presented by our FF writers in so many beautiful ways.

I agree we need new creatives.. Maybe thay can hire some of our forums writers. 😉

Thank you for pointing out to us that the serial has outlived the initial euphoria we all had fallen in love with the persona of Dr Ashutosh be it with MB or SK both did a wonderful job , and of course our charming , bubbly Dr Nidhi with KK doing a great job but the Cv butchered the whole serial maybe initialy it was on DK there after they did not know how to move forward , hence as long as they styled it on doop kinare we enjoyed it thoroughly there after utter mess , don't think will be able to watch a season2 with the same writers so it's a goodbye will remember the good parts and forget the rest

correct...even today, when one asks us about our most fav scene or fav track, they rate back to almost 10 months back. We are living on memories since then and with hope that soon KTLK will rise and touch those glorious days again!!

yes, with the way current track is going, even i hesitate to think about another season. As i said before, if its going to have the same CVs...i don't want it.

I agree with each of your point but frankly I still want season 2 only for Ashni or say SK-KK ... I just hope they change the CVs in season2 nothing else matters to me..

I am sorry i didn't want to remind anyone but seriously with the current track and with only 4 more days to do.. I couldn't stop my self.

I feel let down because they didn't do justice to DK also.. They didn't even finish the house track neatly. I remember being on tenterhooks wondering how Ashu will react to the house and how they could handle it. I hadn't watched DK then (I have since) so for me it was such a unique concept.
