Since you brought Geet up, we all know that DD had issues with sporting the baby bump...and yet, in two episodes, they managed to leave us with the image of a beautiful family...my last image of Geet is of the couple holding the baby...is it so wrong or unfair to expect such closure at least when a show is about to end?

Yep.. this is pretty relevant.. to the current context.. the actress there too had an issue.. but in the end.. she n the ph ..respected the audiences wishes.. ! I can never forget the last image of geet. .so beautiful ... Mohabbat ho to maan-geet jaisi..!

If the audience is expendable, then whom is the show being made for? For the channel, the PH and the actors...

All creative professionals subsist on the goodwill of an audience...wish they would all remember that...the audience that hails them as Gods is eminently capable of trampling them under their feet...pity they forget that in all their arrogance...
