Mithalee...yes indeed, the laws are there most of the time...the problem arises when it comes to implementation...for which money power and politicl power are often to blame..

I understand that the age of juvenile was raised from 16 to 18 a few years ago...and when a juvenile commits a crime, it is regarded as an act of innocence,,,that definition certainly stinks in the context of this crime...you know, a juveniile delinquent, a student of fourteen, stabbed his teacher to death...her daughter lost their mother and her husband his wife...that boy is busy dancing at the discos today...!

This is a petition being submitted to the Justice Verma Commission that is going to investigate into the Delhi rape case...singing petitions cannot change anything...but it will contribute to ensuring that our voices are heard!

@vidyaji completely agree with each and every word...if i am given a chance to handle those 6persons u cant even imagine what all i have in my mind and the way i would punish those ba****ds...but there is a difference between a lay man and a law man...the judge who will b dealing with this case will have to think as a law man...and here i am not defending anyone, there is a dire need for a change in the attitude of the people in the society...i am personally so shocked with this incident that i cant explain it in words

Yaar! Unlogo ko sirf punishment me maut dena hi kafi nahin...unke maut aisi honi cahiye k wo log apne maut k liye khud tarpe! Aur unhe dekh har ak insaan khass karke har ak wo mard jinke man me ye khayal bhi aaye wo khud tauba kare! Amanat..nd all those who had suffered...immensly...sorry is a really very small word to say in what u all suffered...but we can only say we will nt spare those bloody ba...rds!

@Ena sach main tu jo bolri sach hain...but the judiciary there has to think about future consequences also...aaj jaldbaazi main liya gaya koi bhi faisla hum ladkiyon ke liye koi nayi pareshani naa khadi karde...just think if they take a decision without looking into the pros and cons then next time any bas***d would do this and kill the victim...then what? So i'll tell only one thing i dont know about politicians but have faith in the judiciary...insaaf hoga zarur hoga

yaar! Itna sab hone k baad bhi wo aurat ladkiyo ko dosh derahi thi! Wo kaise keh sakti hain k jab amanat ne dekha 6 logone use gher rakha hain to usse surrender karni cahyi tha! Uss aurat ko aisi halat me rakhna cahiye! Yaar...mujhe abhi vi yakeen nehi hota ki koi aurat kisi dusri aurat k ware me aisi keh sakti hain!

Dam it ! it was not simple theft where punishment can be decided as per age.
it will only give wrong message to the society which is full of such people.A teenage boy will feel it is indirectly permitted to commit such an act before the age of 18 and become a good boy after 18.the victim's loss doesnt change with the age of the culprit.here the damage is irrevesible.
identity of each one should be made public and punishment by court be executed within a few days.the culprits hve refused for identification parade and have accepted the crime and over and
above the VICTIM has already given her statement so no time pass only hang till death.

agree to every word of this vidya ji...

What is more depressing in the light of all this...

The incident took place at around 11 pm near Mandi House in central Delhi. The girl has alleged that she was molested inside a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus plying from Khayala to Lajpat Nagar. She said the accused, an off-duty conductor from another bus, harassed her on board.

Woman allegedly groped in candlelight vigil in Mumbai

Police constable and his kin allegedly raped a woman in Amritsar

All this and a couple more just in the last twenty four hours.

Do these men have no shame!! Let there be enough punishment meted to put the fear of God in these men...
