Its already 2am here, but wasnt feeling like sleeping so thought of stealing the opportunity to read it. Just finished reading, here goes ur review:

It was a long nice update. U covered so many diverse elements in this update, and justified eacg element with a commendable finese.

Let me first go character wise, then will assess the plot.

Armaan as a friend was in full form in this update. Although his scenes were not much but those small parts were enough for the required impact. The way u kept his role, not undershadowing and not overpowering was great. He was there for ashu, nidhi and baba. His silent support counts a lot.

Anji and Ranga had their little bit to offer. I am glad u didnt ignore them.

Kapil Solanki is an egoistic man. He considers nidhi his daughter but cant look through her happiness. He is a hot headed person guided by his big fat ego, who fails to see logic. Total psycho i tell u. Dont mind my words for him, but he is a crazy old chap until u reform him.

DB, the less said the better. U put in a small scene of her, atleast she still feels for nidhi, that is what i could infer.

CV, angle. A bit disappointed here. U could have shown his talk with nidhi or ashu showing his trust and belief. He is the only one who possesses brains and sense, except for Shyama and BB[talking about the oldies here].

Shyama, she was the charm of the chap. Her constant support was well needed. The motherly figure she is to nidhi showed both in personal and professional aspect. Three cheers for her. Her professional competence was a treat to watch.

BB, was the silent hero here. His words in the courtroom were remarkable.

Ashu Nidhi, hmm, wat do i say. Ashu was broken, shattered from within, he lost his confidence, nidhi became his inner strength, she became the reason for his fight back with a new determination. Nidhi though afraid has composed herself. Their love can win over biggest of challenges.

Now coming to the plot, let me elaborate on the highlights:

Shyama's quick thinking to go over to the judges house for the bail was impressive. She was always a brilliant lawyer, i am glad u brought this in.

Shyama ashu convo was nicely penned. Awesome mother son bond formed. She took up the case for her son, defied her husband and decided to the fight for the truth had all the necessary mirch masala. It also provided for women empowerment. Great move.

Ashu BB convo at home both times shows family value in times of need. The support that is needed from a dear one in tough times came across really nicely.

The dialogue from ranga about some lawyer who backed out of ashu's case, whose son ashu had operated, was very true. It is what happens in real life. U have very beautifully moulded some harsh realities of life in above context, and women inequality[regarding shyama aunty].



Nidhi reassuring ashu was a masterstroke, as in the way u put. Getting him to relax, coaxing him to drink the milk, soothing his inner fears was a superb job. Making him sleep in her lap, was just too gud.

Nidhi has definitely matured but it is for gud. Must say, u have so many things going on here, but still u havent missed to add tit bits to each person's character sketch.

Ashu is a sweetheart. Even in such a tense situation, he doesnt worry for himself, his concern was for his beloved, nidhi; his father and his inability to save his friend. He thought of Shyama aunty's relation with her husband before himself. Today he added another feather to his self less personality. Thumbs up.

Ashni are each other's strength in true sense. U even added a romantic relief in this complex scenario. It was much needed.

Then comes the courtroom drama. Must say very aptly described. Hate this IK. Shyama aunty again emerged as a competent lawyer here.

BB's pride on publicly acknowledging ashu as his son was pretty much evident. His explanation for not legally adopting ashu was commendable. Thumbs up for that.

IK stunned by Shyama was nice addition. I guess he underestimated her abilities or didnt estimate at all??

To the point arguments without over exaggeration was great.

Finally, the truth about fertility test is out. Want to see DB's and KS's reaction to that??

Wonder what this IK has cooking in his mind with this revelation?

Ashni naino ki bhasha in the courtroom was a great relief while reading that part.

I hope i have dissected each part of the update? Do let me know if i missed out on anything?

As for who killed mallika, i would say Col. Verma. U could call it a wild guess, but my sole reason is dat he was very quiet in this whole update. Didnt offer much support. And 2nd reason, all other options have been used by fellow members.

Can only say, terrific chap from a terrific writer.

When is the next update?
