It is his weakness and unoriginality to portray the age difference strengths and weaknesses properly.

May be Nidhi is yet to get fully out of Mentor-intern relation that she is always worried of hurting him.I feel that in Nidhi's case her respect for Ashu overshadows her love .For Ashu,well that is the way he is,always taking people for granted specially Nidhi but somehow I feel that may be he loves her so much that he never ever believes that she is separate from him,he considers her his own part of existenceand so he is always seen hurting her as much as he is hurting himself.

Tanu ji, Hw dare you say Ashni shud be shown as Soulmates?? The term SOULMATES exists only for Ashmal in KP JI dictionary..

One of my friends asked me to watch KTLK when it had started airing...after a long time just today she asked me if I'm still enjoying the show,I said yes, she said she is not, she is annoyed that a career oriented, smart & progressive girl like Anji turned home maker after marriage while Nidhi who was never ever wanted to be a doc , after her marriage all of a sudden she is so much immersed in her carrier that she is not willing to full fill her hubby's wish,even no time for him...my friend is a trp contributor ..
See how viewers feel...the main problem is lack of consistency...none of the main characters behavior is consistent...always behave out of their character ...only Rangu is the exception...
However, I support & always wanted to see Nidhi as a professional woman, but only in a balanced way...

True.I feel the writer is very inconsistent in story telling.After DK part ended he has butchered the story.He couldn't handle after married life of the lead couple.Instead of showing how they stand united & help each other grow he gave us Mallu torture & that too was not handled properly.Before that in the house track too the culprits were not punished.And the house issue was brushed under the carpet.Sorry to say but the writer lacks vision.KPji himself seemed confused how to carry the story forward( i know there are new writers now).And I feel bec Ranjie are not the leads here & they can't be given that much screen time that's why their relationship is not that much butchered.

Great post Tanu 😊 Agree with u ..Cvs have failed in Showing Ashni as Soulmates...I think something is missing in Ashni ...jo nahi Hona chaye tha ...and whn RanJi Got married I thought they will have more compatibility issues than Ashni ..per yahan toh sab ulta hogaya 😆

I feel AshNi are never left to themselves,just two of them. They are always facing uninvited problems. Age gap upto certain extend is good but
18 years is not easy. Your mind set, views, thoughts differ with each generation example sleeping and eating habits or spendimg habits differ This difference they have shown but AshNi facing people together is required.

Absolutely agree with you. Until now they have failed miserably regarding Ashni relationship.
