Guys .. sorry for the heavy topics. .but i wanted some discussions other than the routine.. Khushi puran .. 😆

Well i was just reflecting on the show.. and something weird struck me...! While the show is based on an age gap couples love story .. its sad to see that ..the duo.. have been shown to have .. more compatibiity issues than a same age couple read Ranji..

Everytime.. Anjie wanted something .. Rangu after opposing initially n not even whole-heartedly...relented.. ! A career minded Anjie transformed herself into a homemaker of sorts for Rangu n even did household chores.. !!

On the other side we have AshNi ... Ashu never seems to take Nidhis words on face value.. and ends up stressing his n her life.. n also being proven wrong.. time n again .. in judging people .. !! Nidhi on the other side.. is getting more n more immersed in her career... with little or no time for Ashu ..!

Do u think.. the show has failed to highlight how an age gap couple can be soulmates rather than not? 😕

well agree with u tanu...and one of the major reasons y ashni have not become soulmates is the lack of heart to heart convos...which i guess everyone in this forum has been screaming for ever since they got married...

about ranji well though they do solve probs more easily than ashni am still not confident of he depth of their love...if and wen anji faces a threat like mallika in their(ranji's) life and stands by ranga the way nidhi did then only i will say ki ya their love is as strong as that of ashni.

Off late however ashni are being shown to have a better understanding i mean better than wat used to b b4...but still theres a long way to go...

and another reason y ranji have been shown to solve their probs easily is because otherwise they will need more screen space and time which means they will have to cut down ashni scenes which they cant as ashu and nidhi are the leads...

Yes.. i understand the PH constraint of having to wrap up RanJi tracks sooner.. than later. but within those few moments also.. i can feel they share better equation and understanding than AshNi ..

However.. yes.. agree RanJi need to face a serious threat like Mallu to maybe truly establish themselves as a more compatible pair.. but the baby issue has been handled pretty smoothly n so has been the ghar jamai one..

absolutely right tanuji...i see only the negativity in this age difference and it is only because these people are showing it in that way...frankly speaking mujhe lagta tha ki agar pati patni main age difference ho toh they understand each other a lot but i was proved wrong.,...

exactly .. instead of highlighting how an age gap couple can be a desirable option. they r showing all the negatives..

Tanuji you are right,totally agree with you.where is age gap? they are fighting with each other instead of facing society.i am talking about Ashni,and afraid of Ranji,bec they are going with rapid speed.

u r right tanu..but again u know lack of balance is also dere in ranji track...1st anji wants to work coz she thinks rangu's sal is not enuf...now her working spree is gone with the wind...u mifght say now she is with her father no need to work..but the reason y she started working and the reason she started living @her maika are totally diff...

@ word Tanuji.

I think that this has nothing to do with us us , the audience, and everything to do with the writer.

It is his weakness and unoriginality to portray the age difference strengths and weaknesses properly.

He takes everything to extremes. Problem is he says life is not black or white, it has a lot of shades sofa grey. But so far I have seen on extremes of behavior from the lead couple. And u are right.

Ranji as a couple do seem to have more compatibility.

yh thats coz she does not hv to bother on money anymore as they r living with her parents.. n thats logical but yes.. an independent minded Anjie becoming a home maker is tad inconsistent . but may be everyone changes at some point in their life.
