I tend to agree a bit with @Libra & @ttrocks.

Firstly, Ashu does not perceive himself to be sn egotistical man, a principled one no doubt but not egotistical. On night of their fight he tried to explain and Nidhi perceived it to be excuses. This time when he changed her assignment, although the Dean left the office but the husband did run outside to catch his wife and explain and then again at CB home. In either scenario, he did not have a problem explaining but on the first, Nidhi made accusations and didn't want to hear his excuses. On the second scenario, she was listening even if under duress.

He will not ask her to come home because he wants her to do it of her own accord, because she wants to be there not because he's asking her to be there. He doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand that she needs reassurance from him.

Sujata: yes, it looked to be maybe bcoz ashu ws worried that amar's bhai who is gangster cn try to hurt nidhi.. Hw ws very concerned abt his wife... I am happy the way things are currently going btween ashni & track.

Yes Sujata it was a nice move from Ashu's side. being a dean he had no need to go to Nidhi's place but being a hubby his concern was natural. But Nidhi has actully lost her mind , who cant see anything.

I think it happened for two reasons. One, he was of course concerned about her. Secondly, her previous night's words had hit him. He realized that she felt that he did not want her. So, this gesture was about proving to her that he wanted her every which way. He is not able to verbalize it though maybe because he does not want to give up on his ego and, having been the one to leave their marital home, he expects her to return of her own accord. And yet, coming to her father's home was a gesture that screamed out his need and concern for her.

Today, of course, he is going to take offense over Amar...she will possibly override his instructions and try to help Amar...and this will not go down well with him because he is seeing through Amar's intentions...and when Nidhi refuses to see reason, he is going to blow it once again...well, I wouldn't blame him...it beats me why Nidhi refuses to see through Amar when she herself noticed his borderline obsession just the previous night!

as to why Nidhi refuses to see...is she refusing to see or is she defying Ashu just for the sake of it? i mean she knows he might be right but acknowledging that would mean accepting that she is on the wrong...

Yes indeed...she is being deliberately blind to his concern because that would mean admitting he is right and she is wrong...I don't get it, Suja...do women actually jeopardize their safety in order to prove a point to their husbands...after seeing the way he behaved with her the previous night, would any sensible woman trust the guy...beats me!
