Shikha, I am not belittling the importance of marriage...obviously there are a lot of responsibilities that come with marriage that you cannot ignore...because you have now made promises to love, care and protect your partner and place them above all others...your saat vachan have been witnessed by a large number of people...so you can't deny having made those promises later on...so it is a legally and socially binding contract...but I am referring to those vachans that you give along with your heart...if those vachans don't matter, then how will these saat vachan alone make you comply is what I was asking?
