Best of KTLK!

All of us keep dissing the show so much that we forget the reasons why we still stick to it...why we are not able to quit even while we rant and rave...despite all its shortcomings, the fact is this is one of the very few shows currently on air which is subtle, classy and well packaged...there are aberrations every now and then, yes, but they are actually making an effort...you got to give them that...also, for a romantic show to survive such a major upheaval as a lead change after hundred epis and to keep going for another hundred, and do a decent job of it besides, is no mean feat...you can't take away this achievement from the makers and cast...so, while giving them all credit for this,
I want to put down a few moments that grabbed my attention and made me stick on to the show, or at least the updates at times...feel free to add yours!

1. My personal all time favourite would be the wedding...it was nothing like the tacky weddings shown on TV...it was sober, subtle, classy...it actually felt like you were part of a family wedding...and their mutual love shone right through..

2. Ashutosh's confession to Armaan will rank very high too...the anguish and helplessness came through so beautifully...it actually reached out and touched you

3. Telephone conversations - These were the highlights of the AShNi romance to start with...although they were in separate frames, their romance was palpable..

4. Ashutosh and Nidhi's meeting post the accident...the moments after he regains consciousness at KGH...again very subtly done, very controlled, no melodrama and the lines were good too...

5. Song sequences- All the song sequences were very beautifully done...my personal favourites would be Ek Din Zindagi, Kasi hai yeh ruth and Rim Jim

6. The first violin date and the scene preceding that - beautifully shot and enacted..

7. Their mutual angst post the Kerala separation and their attempts to move on

8. The Anji - Nidhi relationship...all of their scenes together have been very good...

9. The Ashutosh- Armaan relationship - a mature and longstanding relationship very well depicted

10. Rohan - Nidhi relationship - You can't help falling in love...and that is what happened with
Rohan...but I thought it was a very mature handling of unrequited love..no fuss and no melodrama

Let us see how much longer this list grows!

Lovely post Sujata , Inspite of the disgusting tracks going on I still stick to the show only to see reactions of Dr. Ashutosh , I love this character a lot.
Loved all those scenes you have mentioned.

To the list I would like to add Asutosh 's refusal of Mallika's proposal and his advice to Mallika on Jagan , in fact the whole episode where he also meets his Baba. It was beautifully picturized and well enacted.

I have loved Nidhis un swerving and unconditional love for Ashutosh. Also her absolute trust in him and his love for her. I also love her loyalty towards her family.

I loved the ones you listed. I also loved the one where after the morning tea incident, Ashu finds out that Nidhi made lunch. The screen in the bedroom is so romantic.😍

First rain scene together,Car n cake scene in Baba B Day n V Day,Andhere se kuch Kahene aur Mahemaan wala scene...O Re Piya Dance n after Jungle HM,ped pe likenewala scenes were fab too
