OK,so now both parties have seen and argued with each other face to face in Kerala...the great plan to hide has gone down the drain anyways. So now why continue to be holed up there in expensive hotel rooms Dr A and Colonel verma? Might as well drag yourselves back to Lucknow and slug it out in your own house Colonel Verma...Seriously I have yet to come to terms with how easily this guy can be conned into things...it is downright embarassing to the Indian army...first by Mansukhani and then by "Major Pillai". Can you imagine having such a "colonel" on the battle front ? Wondering how easy it would be for the enemy to con him into revealing his position. And for heavens sake... we are to believe that Colonel Verma did not tell his best buddy, Solanki that he should not reveal his whereabouts? Anjie openly asks the other dimwitted dad about Kerala of all the sates in the union and he happily blurts out info about kerala? He cant put two and two together and ask why do you need to know about kerala?

What's up with the topsy turvey Ashutosh characterisation once SK entered? Only the actor portraying it changed...not the character...at least that's what I thought. But ever since SK has entered, it's been an all guns blazing, charging Dr A we have gotten to see. Till the Nihan engagement, we had a circumspect Dr A who treaded very carefully and now we have an in-your-face Dr A all the time. SK nowadays reminds me of Bacchan in Trishul confronting Sanjeev Kumar...honestly I thought the colonel was shivering for a second facing the deep barritoned onslaught from SK.

Why can't Nidhi or Dr A open their big fat mouth and instead of going around in circles and circles about mera pyaar...tera pyaar...samaj and that BS, go straight to the point about how Nidhi and Dr A indirectly sacrificed their biggest dream, the OCD house of Dr A to save the original dimwitted Baba after his epic stupidity with Mansukhani? Just one reminder...please CV's. Isn't it the biggest proof of Nidhi's commitment to family and having paid her dues, why cant she now choose her life partner? Why cant Dr A just once ask Baba and the OTT DB where was the samaj when baba dearest was prostrate on the bed?

Why this volte face by Nidhi? She was the one running all around Dr A and virtually begging him for this relationship and now conveniently asks him to forget him with a stupid dialogue saying forget me if you love me??????? Hello!!! Did I hear right? If you love me , forget me ?? Why not just take an approach saying we are hell bent for each other and will not marry anyone else but will wait for your approval and till you approve, we will go about our daily lives. All this stems from the fact that Nidhi and Dr A never spoke openly about this topic to each other and prepared themselves on how to handle it and now faced with the obvious, they are flying by the seat of their pants not knowing which way to go next. Instead Nidhi was busy buying hair dyes and specs and deciding on who and how to pluck Dr A's white hair...god...small mercies please...

About the open tracks left unfinished like why doesnt baba find out what happened and so forth, there are at least 20 or more open tracks...so best left unsaid.

I have no problems with the present Dr A's avatar. Its great and that's what we wanted all this while. Agreed. What I was looking for was the logic for such a sea change in character. Till going to Delhi, Dr A used to purr like a well groomed kitten in front of Mallu about every thing in his life and lo and behold after the accident, he wakes up in his hospital bed and pretty much treats Mallu like a no body and has a pat answer in retort for every move of hers. Why and how did he change? By he, I mean Dr A. What was the trigger? It would have been nice to have him say that hwne the whole world including mallu mata had given him up for dead, only Nidhi believed he was alive and so he is now convinced to fight tooth and nail for her...I didnt hear that thought eveolving from Dr A.

I have a nagging suspicion that it has to do with the actors potraying Dr A. SK cannot be seen as a submissive kitten to Mallu given his build and barritone while MB because of his outlook to acting and dependence on voice changes cannot come out riding the cavalry against baba like SK. Its just the way the actors are. MB to me always was unconvincing in anger scenes and excelled in soft scenes involving voice drops while SK by his build, physique and that DEEP voice cannot be seen muttering sweet nothings into Nidhis ear but fits perfectly as the Ashman out to bash baba into the ground. Did you see when SK moved next to Baba towards the end of today's epi? He pretty much dwarfed Baba and towered menacingly over him. Never saw that physical angst when MB stood next to Baba.

You may have a point. I have never seen SK act in any other serial till I saw KTLK as I was off serials for many years. The storyline of KTLK caught my eye so I started seeing this. So wouldn't know SK's acting capacity in those scenes. But yeah...loving very minute of the new look Dr A.
