Ashu is 42. He mentioned it to Nidhi when he drops her back from Priyanka's wedding... Saying you know I am 42. Nidhi says to enjoy life kya farak padta hai ki aap 24 ke hain ya 42 ke.

coming to the topic... we should stop comparing the actors... both are good in their own way... and both gave and will give their 100 %...to the show...aslong the script is up to mark...

second... most off us fell in love with Ashu cause off MB...and to compare him with SK is totally wrong...it's almost cheating on Ashu...

I'm not comparing two actors. I'm giving reasons as to why I find SK better for the role. You all have reasons to accept and reject my point though.

And sun, you just gave depth to my words. MB was a class act. Being a renowned actor, he did face inhibitions acting mushy with a girl younger to him. Moreover, the show sis not stand upto the level of DK which makes it rule out its authentity! This show has become like any other love story now. Which is why I find Sharad a better choice. MB couldn't have handled touchy scenes! I would have hated to MB and KK flee away and start a new family altogether.

The deceny is no more seen.

yup...every actor has his strength and weakness...what he cld not do another actor is ready to do ...so instead of crying hoarse over split milk why not enjoy it...his inhibitions whatever the reasons be nearly cost this show ...hence they had to reach some solution ...what is done is done...it is a love story and romance has to be a part...no actor should be ever bigger than the script or plot...

let us see it as a show and enjoy instead of all this plotting planning
