@mehek, completely agree. I for one was very dis-appointed with apparent lack of any chemistry between the leads and no romantic scenes shown.

And this news now makes me see why...Who ever is the replacement should be given a fair chance both my CV's and us.

Personally I agree with MB's decision that if he just couldn't get himself to stay on the show he, I guess had no other alternative then to leave. Though I do think if you commit to a show it is unprofessional to leave it so suddenly in the lurch like this.

I have always abhorred the idea of having another person play the character that was played by an actor we all identified with as Dr. A. It will be very hard to digest another face playing the same character especially if they end up choosing a younger guy to play Dr. A. That would be a dumb move IMO. I would much rather they keep it real and move the story in a different direction while still staying true to the original concept.

I thought they could replace Dr. A with another replacement a new character. Another Dr. who is older and still stay true to the original concept of the story of a May - December romance. I am sorry to see MB go but I am also upset that he chose to go so suddenly or was pushed to leave so suddenly either way the show will suffer. The story concept is so new and unique but MB's sudden departure leaves the CVs with very few choices.

If MB chose to leave like this it is unprofessional of him as an actor. If he was pushed out of the show then the folks who pushed him out will definitely find out in the coming weeks how bad this decision was. All around this was a big mistake and the show will pay the price in the end.

I agree. Perhaps I was unclear about the introduction of a new character. When I said May-December romance I meant it would be one sided. No, I wouldn't want Nidhi to fall for anyone. I was thinking in the sense that perhaps the new older guy could fall for Nidhi but she would not and continue to remember her lost love. It would bring pathos to the story and give it a different dimension. I certainly would not want Nidhi to fall for anyone else. I don't think I could stomach the CVs moving away from the original story about Dr. A and Dr. N. That should remain intact. I don't know what they are currently doing with Rohan's character either. BTW the name Rohan reminds me of Lord of the Rings triology;) Though, there Rohan was a country being defended. I'm not sure about the amnesia theory either. It too has been done to death. Very true Dr. A is the very core of the story and so is Dr. N. You did not offend me at all;) I enjoyed reading your comment.
