Hi All. Something is not adding up in the way MB is exiting the show. His health issues are temporary as he has himself admitted then why would Channel, PH and he, himself, want to leave a show where he is the main lead. Now about Dr. A, the character. Either someone else plays him or he dies. If someone else plays him, then the CVs have following options:
1. Show DB & Baba opposition, acceptance, get A & N married, revelation of Malika's misdeeds / blow up house issue and then misunderstandings.
2. Alternatively, show DB & Baba opposition, acceptance, revelation of Malika's misdeeds/blow up house issue, show misunderstandings and finally get A & N married.
Given the superfast KTLK timeline, creatives would not be able to stretch either of the options beyond 3-4 months. It does not make sense to me that MB would exit the show if there is just 3-4 months of work left. Second option is that A dies. Well, if A dies then the lighting of kandeel less than a week ago in KTLK's timeline and 2 weeks ago in real timeline does not make sense. So could this be the plan?
A would go missing. N would be numb for sometime, will remain steadfast in her belief that he would come (Shahzadi Saluba's promise) and join Kotnis to feel closer to him. A new administrator (may not be as old as A) would come. He would fall for N. Baba would notice it, persuade her this time to leave the past behind and move on but N will refuse. I am sure these guys are not yet done with Malika's vampisation. She will reach A (dont ask me how). DB has blessed Sue that Malika's wish will be granted unless that was random. Some loss of memory track a la Ekta Kapoor. A will finally discover Malika's misdeeds, will remember that N is waiting, break out of his baradri (read Malika's 12 year wait) and reach N.
I am unable to digest that A will die and, A&N lovestory will have a tragic end given that they have just lighted kandeel. Sneha had tweeted that MB's exit was not planned overnight and that discussions on permutations and combinations were going on for sometime. I am, therefore, inclined to believe that baradri story and kandeel lighting was prophetic. I also remember Rajan Shahi mentioning in one of his interviews around the time of launch that A & N lovestory will be a legendary lovestory of TV. We are, perhaps, seeing execution of the legend narrated by N at Baradri.
To cut the long story short, I think MB's exit is temporary and stage managed. He has a genuine medical condition but it is being used as a cover. Suits everyone. TRPs are down so his exit creates the necessary buzz. He gets rest. They get a much needed new character to stretch the storyline since KW is out. MB / A's re-entry can be presented later on as an audience demand and will be a major high point. There is just one thing that jars in this theory. If everything is stage managed, why and where from did the rumours/reports of MB's unprofessionalism surface? My guess is that this was the work of overzealous reporters or people not kept in the loop.
Even if I am proved wrong next week and they do end up replacing/killing A, I am going to believe my theory to have a peaceful weekend.
