True Aleha...Mallika's character is ruined by Cvs...Anita had class..She was insecure with Pooja...but didnot stoop down so low to win Viren as Mallika is made to do...😕

First off...a huge huge 🤗to you, Tanu for making this post! And Rabziee for your take on it!! 🤗

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOVVVEEE LAMHE...its an all-time favorite...I can watch it over and over and over and never tire of it!!
I was in love with Viren of Lamhe..same as I fell in love Ashu of KTKP..both trusting, innocent, vulnerable when younger and then turning bitter, introverted, aloof, stern when they grow older because of their pain...heartbreak due to unrequited love and heartbreak due to desertion!!

LAMHE made me truly believe that AGE is so insignificant in the bigger scheme of things...when it comes to connecting to divinity with the purity of love..

Nidhi and Pooja...the child women,...both Sri and KK made me fall in love with them for their respective portrayals...so endearing, so cute...the innocence of pure love...their stubbornness, their confidence and then the shattering..

Here I'd like to add that moment.. In KTLK, in the cake scene when he's staring at her, Anji is convinced he's in love with her too and she tells Nidhi and Nidhi is dancing with joy... and then the shattering moment comes, when he dismisses her!
In Lamhe..she finds the pic of her mom in his room, thinks its her, and she's overjoyed..only to have it shattered by him!

Armaan and Prem..YES...the similarities are there!! I hope they show a bonding between Nidhi and Armaan similar to Pooja and PRem in Lamhe..they are both so totally whacko,,they drive Viren crazy!! 😆

Do agree Anita was classy in Lamhe and Mallu is just plain OCD! THey ruined her!

DaiJa is a fave in Lamhe...just adore Waheedaji in this role...especially in the Antakshari when she dances to Kaaton se kheech ke..she's just awesome!!!! Too bad they didn't make DB more like her!!

Ohhh..I can go on and on...its my all time fave romantic movie..And the crackling dialogues...the convo between Anita and Pooja...so so classy!
Tum unke liye sirf ek bojh ho, ek responsibility ho
Chaliye..kum se kum main unke liye kuch toh hoon, aap unke liye kya hain?

And then when Anita tells Viren
Tum jab bhi aanken band karte ho tumhe Pallavi dikhti thi..ab bhi wahi thi na?
And then he sees Pooja!!! and shudders!! OMG!!! Totally romantic moment!! ❤️

Yes the pendant scene looked totally lifted from LAMHE!!

Ooohhh..I'm gonna dream of Ashu as Viren and Nidhi as Pooja tonight!! Thanks Again Tanu!! 🤗

@shee.. thanks for the cap..

@lizzie... tell me about it. i loveee Lamhe.. the whole thing. .makes me feel so sooo romantic.. 😍 .. gawwddd.. !! And so true... the whole.. Nidhi thinking Ashu loves her thanks to Anjies feeding n it getting shattered by him firing her.. n Viren slapping Pooja out of her stupor ..dreaming that it was her Viren loved.. not knowing about her mom was jus jus.. FABULOUS!! 😳

Also.. if u see..the HOUSE/Haveli. .hv a connect too ... Pooja grew in Virens Haveli.. while he remained away from it almost half his life.. n Nidhi was the reason for Ashu to love his HOUSE..where he stayed half his life..! 😳

@ And there's LONDON connect too! GAwsh!! I'm going crazy just imagining this,,KTLK in LAMHE scenario!!

Ashu studies in London and Viren sets up business in London...

Viren hates Pooja (or rather refuses to have anything to do with her) cos she's the reason he lost his love..PALLAVI

And Ashu hates Nidhi (albeit unknowingly) cos she's the reason he lost his love..the HOUSE..

Lamhe is my all time favourite movie...Watched it so many times, the same way I watch KTLK episodes again and again. But the similarities never struck me...😔..
So a lot of 🤗 🤗 🤗 to you so give us the connection between one cult and another has every ingredient to reach the stature...
Tanu, your effort is really admirable 👏 👏 👏and thank you Rabz and Lizzie to find out the other similarities ...Feeling very nostalgic about Lamhe...I have to watch it again 😳
