Well ..was watching some of KTLK's episodes... and ended up finding.. quite a FEW moments that instantly ... reminded me of ...i guess... all our CULT fave... LAMHE...!!

Here are some of the moment .. i culd connect... PLS feel free to ADD ON:

: The SUPER SENSUOUS 'PENDANT' Moment :

The Moment, when Nidhi... after getting Ashu in her BEDROOM ... offers her hand holding the pendant-necklace and asks him to PUT it ON as it was his HAQ ... easily takes u back in time when... Pooja (Sridevi) insists that the Pendant Viren (Anil Kapoor) had bought for her budday as a gift should b put on her by HIM...!! 😳

Like in KTLK (Nidhi), Pooja in Lamhe wait.. anxiously and expectantly.. for THEIR LOVER to put it on them... n when they do...its...UNFORGETTABLE😍

And well once Viren put the Pendant on.. we got one of the most unforgettable songs ever... 'Kabhi Main Kahoon... Ke maine tumhe.. YE DIL DE DIYA!!'

Ok hold it... 😲 u ..seriously dinno???? KTLK's Bara SAAL ... has a CONNECT with Lamhe too?? 😉 ... yes yes.. U HEARD it RIGHT..bacha logs.. (and bacha ke amma logs 😆)! The phamousss... Bara SAAL jaap of Mallu vis a vis.. the BARA SECOND jaap of Nidhi ... had a CONNECT with Lamhe too...!! 😉In one of the confrontation type conversations between ... Anita and Pooja... we had Anita FLAUNT how she loves.. Viren for over PANCH SAAL... to which a PERKY Pooja replied... she loves VIREN. ..ever since she was of PANCH SAAL!

: Armaan vis a vis Prem :

Easily one of the most LOVED 🤗 ...supporting character... Armaan, the Fashion Designer.. shares quite a FEW .. similarities with Prem - Virens business partner & Virens childhood Bud..!! Both are single ..with their share of pain ... but both have ONE SIMPLE intention... to see the HAPPINESS of their BEST FRIENDS..!! 😳

Ashu for Armaan

Viren for Prem

Armaan... brings in a smile 😊every time he appears on the screen.. but amidst the humorous touch. .he ENSURES to get his POINT across to Ashu...pretty similar to Prem who while humourous on the exterior... never failed to CALL A SPADE a SPADE ...before Viren.. !! 😎 Both Armaan and Prem were the first to... DISPELL the myth of AGE-GAP .. in the minds of their besties.. n encouraged.. their friends to follow their heart n find their TRUE LOVE!😳

: The LONER - The 'HERO' :

😍 Dashing... Debonair... Dazzling .. yet.. LONELY... SHATTERED ... INTROVERTED .. PAINED... HEART-Broken <--- The many ...many ..similarities.. that both these 'HERO' share..!! 😳

One with a heartbreak ..read Pallavi.. another with a heartache ..read Baba ...😭 and both REFUSING to MOVE ON!

But ONE FINE DAY ... IN WALKED a PRINCESS in both their lives.. and 'LIFE & LOVE' WERE NEVER THE SAME! 😳

Hesitating... Apprehensive... Unsure.. as our HERO walked towards this RAY OF SUNSHINE.. ... we knew for sure... LOVE had found its way! ☺️

Anil Kapoor as Viren.. breathed to life a CHARACTER..which is considered a cornerstone in his Luminous CAREER... pretty much as Mohnish Bahl.. who has brought Ashu to life with such REALISM..that... his potrayal shall remain one of the BESTEST... on TV in ages! 👏

: The CHILD-Woman - The HEROINE:

Bubbly, Vivacious, Lively, Wild.. Crazy... Irrepressible, Untameable, Free-spirited <--- Some of the many many many .. similarities that.. both our CHILD-WOMAN share!😳 But with that.. they also share.. a .. 'NEVER SAY NEVER' and 'ANYTHING for LOVE' ..attitude.. that.. ensures that.. the MEN they fell for.. finally .. SUCCUMB to their CHARMS! ☺️

Sridevi as Pooja... created a character..that was a LANDMARK in her illustrious CAREER... and Kritika as Nidhi.. has created a character that shall remain one of her CAREER best! 👏

Both Pooja n Nidhi.. din care for the world.. din care for the pain.. for they knew that what the HEART wants.. the HEART wants..!! 😳 Both took the leap of faith.. and despite the SETBACKS.. ended up WINNING their PRINCE CHARMING... n for REAL! 😉

Haven't seen lamhe ..but i only know that its based on similar concept n now when u described evrythn it looks like that KTLK is inspired from lamhe as well 😉

😊 great post tanu just watched lamhe on tv last weekend an i could picture nidhi in pooja one of my fav movies and i really could see bits and pieces of ktlk in it and u hav done and excellent review of it 😊😊😊😊😊

😳 thankoo ..!! well me hv been seeing a lot of similarities.. esp in the characterization of Viren n Ashu ... n then quite a few landmark similarities.. was waiting for a weekend to pen it down! 😳

Hey..Tanu...First A BIGGG 🤗 and a LARGEEE ThankUUU...for making this Amazinggg post...

Lamhe will Remain The Best Movie..I ever watched during my growing years and it occupies a special place in my heart...Lamhe has left a Visual Memories in my mind...Name the Movie Lamhe..and my mind reflects mesmerizing scenes from the movie...

And KTLK..is my Fav serial ..and you Pointed out so many similarities Between them...You have Made me realise Why i Love KTLK..because it has some similarities with Lamhe...

There is one scene in Lamhe...Where Pooja bought Sweater for Viren..and Anita Told Viren will not Wear it...But Pooja gave it too Viren on her conviction..Viren did wear it...

Similarly..When Nidhi Took Rose for Ashu on her first Visit to his House..Mallika told.Ashu wont accept Rose but He took it...

Not much similar scene.but .i remembered and so added on...😳

Yep.. 👍🏼 same way for PICNIC too ... Nidhi had requested Ashu to come n Mallu had shrugged it off saying .. Ashu doesnt go to picnic. but he came n NJOYED...much like .. how Pooja had challenged to make Viren go out with them.. n he did... to the amusement park n njoyed thoroughly! 😳

rabzonedge agree one of the best movies and made well before its time must have watched it when i was around 10 years old and it still holds a special place if only mallika had half the class anita had.
