"Oh, these stoles are still here...work fast guys" Shaina said picking up the bundle of red and white stoles as she instructed the workers who were helping her decorate ashutosh's apartment

"Shy, you don't need to do this...i asked for a simple marriage and then...why all this...why you need to go through all this decor and fuss" Ashutosh said making Shaina stopped as she just blink her eyes

"Ashu, you asked for a simple court marriage and you wish is granted but you are not thinking from a bride's perspective...Nidhi views...you need to have a look on them too...a girl always think to have a grand wedding and later to find herself in the bed of roses who will assure her that her life changed for good...and she is going to get and explore the colors of life with her spouse" Shaina said handing over the stole to a servant and then turns towards ashutosh

"Grand wedding is not she demanding...atleast we can give her this" She put her hands on her hips as ashutosh just smiled at her and cupped her face

"I don't think, i can ever get a sweet friend like you" Shaina smiled and said

"You never even dare look around for one, as i am never going to leave you" Shaina warned...Ashutosh narrowed his eyes

"But i mean i can never find anyone like you" he tried to explain that he actually mean it...

"And i mean, i am not letting you go to find someone like me" Shaina smiled as ashutosh move forward and kiss her forehead

"I know, you are one of your kind" Shaina moved back and said

"Now go Mr.Cool...i know you are looking handsome in this white sweat shirt and beige trouser but don't you think, its quite unique for a wedding" It was now shaina's turn to narrowed her eyes

Ashutosh look down at himself and then back at her...

"It is..." He said making a silly me face and went towards the room, when he stopped and turned shouting out

"Shy, please change mayank clothes" and then closed the door behind him

"Ok" Shaina giving instructions to all, went towards Mayank room who was sleeping at his unusual time

"Nidhi...you ready" Seeing her looking down at her mehndi...Nandita just smiled...her daughter was looking much mature and appealing in her red sari...her eyes were looking up at the new life, she is going to start and her feet already had started moving out from this house, which used to be her house till date...but from now, is not going to be like that as her thinking power already took her outside into that world...of which every girl dream and her dreams going to come true in just next 3 hours

Nandita put her hands on her shoulder which make her come back to reality and look up in mirror to find her mother

"Mom" She said softly

Tears just spill out from Nandita eyes as she bend down and hug her from her neck

"I will miss you baccha" Nandita said closing her eyes and kissed softly in her hairs

Nidhi's eyes too welled up as she put her hands on her mothers and said

"I will miss you all Mom" after a moment of heavy heart, Nandita pull apart and wipe her tears...and later, apply a black mark of her eye Kohl on behind Nidhi's ear

"God save my daughter from bad eyes" Nidhi just smile between tears and get up to hug her mom, tightly

"What is happening here?" Atul said as he and aryan just made an entry to found this heart wrenching scene

"Mom, you should be happy na...we are getting rid of this devil" Nandita and Nidhi break the hug and Aryan and Ishaan approached them and Nidhi moved forward to hit Ishaan

"Mom see, Bro is making fun of me" She aid trying to get hold of Ishaan as he was hiding behind Aryan

"Ishaan, thats bad...our little Nidhi is not devil" Aryan said giving Nidhi a side hug as ishaan make a face, annoying her and Nidhi look at him with a victorious look

"Actually, she is the Queen of Devils" Nidhi's mouth left opened with Aryan saying but before she can react...Aryan get away from there as Ishaan made a I see you look at her

"Mom" Nidhi said getting angry as she take quick steps behind Aryan and hit him with a pillow and was holding other, when Nandita said out

"Who will believe you going to marry Nidhi if you are just going to behave like this" saying "humph" Nidhi sit down on bed in anger

"Ishaan, What will Ashutosh going to do if she is going to behave like this with him" Aryan said in a cheeking tone as Ishaan to smile knowingly and Nidhi started blushing

"Don't know bhai...may be he is just the one who can control her and make her behave more sensibly with her elder brothers" Ishaan said as Nidhi just frown and get up to hit him while Aryan, Ishaan and Nandita just smiled

"Nandita, come down...we are getting late" hearing Yograj voice from down stairs, nandita just stop all of them and made Nidhi move towards downstairs along with her brothers

Signing the papers...both named there lives for each other...Nidhi look up to find him looking at her...she smiled and then look at Yograj, Aryan, Shaina and Rohan signing as witness from both sides and hence the formalities were complete

"Congratulation" Nidhi and Ashutosh stand up as the hugging session begin and a long lists of teasing and congratulation begins...in the end, Shaina and Rohan spoke up

"Bhai, these were the formalities...but now we gonna perform real rituals of indian wedding" Rohan said holding Anji's hand in one and hold ashutosh's shoulder from other

"Rohan but" ashutosh spoke up but Shaina stopped him

"No buts Ashu...we have arranged everything...you just need to come with us in the nearby temple" Ashutosh look at Nidhi and as she was looking excited...ashutosh nod

Aryan applaud Shaina from the back...She was looking gorgeous in her parrot color sari...She is surly the girl he ever wished...he need to tell her that how he regret that moment of leaving her till now as from then on...he never dated a single girl as he realized his mistake

Silently he went to his car as Ishaan take place beside him

"Kanya ko bulain" Ashutosh was seated in the mandap when Nidhi entered the temple, holding both his brother hands

Pandit started saying Shaloks and now it was time for circle's

Taking circles arounds that sacred fire...Nidhi felt blessed as ashutosh was constantly holding her hand and on the fourth circle, with such grace, make her come forward...

She took all the vows with him and was firm to act on them...She was going to make his home a Paradise

He entered the house to find her asleep while hugging Mayank...A little smile formed on his lips as he put his bag aside and loosen his tie, he went to the bed...carefully he sat and leaned on the bed to have a clear view of both...Mayank was looking so pure...sweet, cute, adorable...he moved forward his hand and brushed his tiny hairs to whom, he assumed...she just gave a proper shape...He looked up to see her sleeping more like a baby..having mayank cling to her and looking peaceful...His smile grew wider as his hand automatically moved towards her face to tuck that single strand of hair away from her face

He adored her simply...she was a kind heart, soft spoken and a fun loving girl...but a bit stubborn...She is ready to get what she likes and that what make him more impressed with her

He remembered how a month back...on there reception...a huge one arranged by her parents so there family and friends can meet them both as a couple...she just took the place on the stage with mayank and said out loud

"Guys, meet our son...Mayank" He remembered the bright smile and glow of her face as her parents looked bewilder...They got to know about Mayank before wedding through Ishaan...but didn't knew that she is going to announced that to world

His hand stay on her face as a sudden urge take place inside his heart to kiss her...

"No, I can't..." he told himself but his mind was betrayed by his heart and he moved forward to give her a kiss on her forehead...His lips keep stuck to her forehead as of tasting her and after a moment...part away

Feeling her shifting, he quickly move back and found her eyes opening up

"You back" She said sitting up in bed...Mayank got disturbed but she move forward her hand to pat her unknowingly that ashutosh's hand too moved that way

As she put her hand on Mayank...ashutosh sealed it there with his hand and start patting him along with hers

She looked up, astonished as its first time they got in a physical contact and he didn't back off...before, whenever her hand touched him, even for a second...he used to quickly removed his hand saying sorry...Unknown of the fact that she left pissed... but the main thing was that...she was ready to give him all the time as she promised...just for a single moment that he will too accept her from his heart and will love her...like a husband

"Ya...actually after the merger...things get quite easy for me and moreover that Ishaan and Aryan too joined the business...and Shaina is there as always" He whispered back

Seeing mayank getting calm...she take out her hand and get up from the bed

"You need anything"

"Black Coffee, Please" She smiled and left for kitchen

She had just started learning the cooking and that's for him only as he don't like the junk food...Lizi left the job as her daughter gave birth to a son and it was a high time for her to get retired...thats the reason she gave to him...but the fact was that she knew that they both get married and also realized that they need privacy to develop there relation as that was the best, Lizi can ask for ashutosh and mayank's happiness

Nidhi quickly made two cups of coffee and come out as ashutosh too joined her in main hall after having a quick shower

"How was your day?" She said seeing him taking a sip of his mug

"Good enough...we just got a tender today...your father is a book of knowledge..." Nidhi smiled...She was happy that ashutosh is accepting her family but still...she just wished he could accept her the same way

"Ya" she said just ending the talk...Thats all between them...they use to exchange minimum amount of words but today...Nidhi had decided to break the oath

"Ashutosh" Seeing him putting on the tv, she started

"Hmmm" as he replied emptying his cup...she continued

"Don't you mind if i ask something?" She said looking at him seriously...

He noticed the tone of her and mute the tv, turns towards her

"Ya, What?...do we really need to be such formal?" He asked coolly

"Yes, for the matter of fact...we need to" He was confused as she was making him one

"Ok, whats the topic?" He said making himself comfortable on the couch

"Your...Parents" Ashutosh sigh at this but he knew...if he is going to indulge himself in a relation, the other will ask this question one day or other

"Rohan always talk about them...but...i never heard anything from you...They were not even there for our marriage" Ashutosh became his usual serious and anger can be clearly see on his face

"If you don't want to talk about this...than its ok" She get up holding the cup but stopped as ashutosh hold her wrist and made her sit beside him...that left her shocked and inside somewhere, she was happy too...

"I am an orphan...you know that right" as she nod, he continued

"I was about 3 when they they adopted me...i think i was just a toy for them which they wanted to play...they don't had a child so i was there child...but only till for the day, they got the news of Rohan...i was back as an orphan as that was really my place..." a tear escape his eyes as Nidhi felt really bad hearing it from him and a ping in her heart...life was really unfair to him...She hesitantly put her hand on his shoulder

He looked up at her and saw his pain reflecting in her eyes...and he continued

"Rohan born...and they forget me...if you say they just raised me as a burden they put on themselves...but i am glad in the end that i get a brother like Rohan who i know is always there with me, Right" She nodded and give him a weak smile as he did and wipe his tears

He hold her hand and look into her eyes...He didn't want to loose what he got just now

"Are you going to leave me too?" He was uncertain about his words but he need to ask...he need to prepare himself for another rejection before time

She saw that...fear, more like horror between his teary eyes...she can feel the pain of being ignored...and so, she hold his hand tightly

"Why you think so?" Her voice was calm...she want to take out all that pain from him as she don't want him to suffer any more

"I don't know...its just that to whoever i love or feel attached...always went away from me...may be its maa, paa and then Mallika...Being Snubbed, ignored and rejected all my life...i just need to know if i am going to get another shock" She just wipe his tears and made him sweetly lay in her lap

"I am never going to leave you ashutosh, I promise" She said closing his eyes from other hand as ashutosh was still holding her one...a calmness appeared on his face as she said those words...it seems like he just need a promise...a promise to have someone beside him whenever he needed

Nidhi just keep looking at him...he seems strong from outside but was torn from inside...she need to stitch those wounds and she will...with her immense love for him...thats all, she think, he needed this time

After an hour...Nidhi look at him as he was shifting in her lap so she think he need to get comfortable

"Ashutosh...ashutosh" She lightly take his name and make him woke up

"ya, what?" he said in his sleepy tone

"Come inside with me...you need bed" Ashutosh sit down on couch and said scratching his head

"Why didn't you wake me up before?" He looked at her as she just smile

"I love seeing you sleeping so peacefully...now" She put forward her hand "Come, Go to bed" Ashutosh hold her hand as after what he shared with her, they attached themselves in a much stronger bond

As they reached in, ashutosh changed into his vest and trouser and move into bed...Nidhi too changed and went to switch off the lights...She was about to go to her side of bed as they do share a bed but to there sides and mayank in between...thats what ashutosh wanted and Nidhi gave...ashutosh hold her hand and she looked at him questioningly

"Get in to the bed here" He said removing the comforter from himself and asked her to slip between him and Mayank...Nidhi smiled and without objection, get there as her back hit his chest and he cuddled her waist

"I can't sleep without hugging someone...Those nights were sleepless" He said sweetly as a whisper in her ears. while closing his eyes...She felt the warmth of his body and was happy, atleast he was trying to accept her and this was his first movement

Shaina hit the bed after changing...she was tire, very tired...more because of hiding from Aryan than the work load...she was trying to interact more with Yograj, Ashutosh and ishaan but one way or other...she had to deal with aryan

She noticed many times him staring at her...she was feeling disgusted...not for that but to find her own body deceiving her as a sudden blush do appear on her cheeks and that made him left with a smile...She hate it...his actions still do effect her, her whole body and scratched more of her soul

She closed her eyes to think of sleep when right then the bell rang

Angry she throw the pillow on the floor as she was not in mood to leave her warm bed right now...but hearing the bell again, she just get up helplessly as her limbs were getting heavy with tiredness and pain

She opened the door with chain still keeping it closed...but seeing the person she just hit the door hard

"Shaina, please open the door...i need to talk to you" Hearing his voice, enraged her...how dare he came to her house at such a night

"Aryan, go away and let me live in peace...i don't want to see your damn face right now"

He knew she was angry...not actually angry but hate him...what did he expect...the same as he too know he did really abusive stuff with her and for him, its now or never and he is not going to leave this chance

yaar, great two love stories simultaneously. hope from here we can see the great romance of ashni.
it is hard to narrate a different story, which you are doing right now flawlessly.
hat's off.I liked the part where nidhi decleared mayank as her son , totally understandable and supportive wife.
with this approach only she can win ashu's love.
fantastic approach.

Loved both the chapters Ana. You are a revelation as a story teller. I am amazed at the sheer range of dimensions/issues/equations you are exploring in this story - A's & Shy's friendship, N's relation with her siblings, parents and now Mayank, Shy's relation with Aryan, A's professional relation with N's family, Malika's inability to accept that she can not be a mother and, issues related to adoption. I love the way you have intertwined the lives of A, N, Aryan, Shy and Mayank. You come across as a very mature and confident story teller.

N comes across as such a pure hearted soul. You have made her so lovable. I adored her announcement, "Guys, meet our son...Mayank". I am glad A has started opening up to N, depending on her and becoming attracted to her.

My heart went out to A on reading about his parents. Issues related to adopted children and adoptee parents are very close to my heart as my immediate family and two friends who are more like family have adopted children. We always discuss such issues when we meet/speak. DK had dwelled on these issues in quite a detail. You have described A's insecurity, fear and pain resulting out of being snubbed and rejected so sensitively. I plan to share this with them. My heart went out to A on reading "Are you going to leave me too?" and "I can't sleep without hugging someone...Those nights were sleepless". I am happy to read that A is starting to find emotional security in N. You separated A & N initially in your last FF. This is a contract marriage. Please please can I request you not to separate them in this FF even for a brief moment.

Looking forward to your next chapter. Dont make us wait for long.
