It was exactly 24hrs since Baba was in ICU.Nidhi had not stirred from the hospital & had sent rest of them back home, she couldn't think of leaving Baba and go.

Nidhi - God !! Mere saath hi aisa kyu hota hain,pls baba ko kuch mat ho.. She's been in tears from a long time & they refused to stop. She had never felt this weak & helpless. Just 24hrs back she was about to have the best New Year of her life & now it had turned into a nightmare.

Nidhi - Pata nahin Dr. Ashutosh kya soch rahenge mere bare mein, unhon ne toh mere phones be answer nahin kiya kitna gussa honge aur hurt bhi. Koi baat nahin jaise hi baba stable hojayenge mein unse jaake milungi aur maafi maangoongi

Nidhi is lost in her thoughts & standing near the window when she feels someone's presence and turns around. Ashu is standing at a few feet away from her.

Ashu is shocked to see her in such a state, she looked a mess eyes swollen,red full of tears and her face had lost the ususal glow and her smile which he loved the most

Nidhi felt like this was the moment she was waiting for and here was the lone person who could take away her grief and without any hesitation she ran to him and hugged him.

Ashu suddenly felt overcome with such close physical proximity with Nidhi.His mind was angry on her,wanted to question her, but his heart wanted to comfort her,wipe those tears and give solace to her

Finally he embraced her with one hand on her waist and with the other on her head consoling her.

Nidhi kept saying baba ... Baba...

Ashu - Nidhi daro mat kuch nahin hoga tumhare baba ko

Nidhi suddenly conscious of where she was disengaged herself from the embrace and looked at him.

Nidhi - Baba abhi bhi critical hain aur doctors unhe monitor kar rahe hain

Ashu -Main yahake doctors ko jaanta hu Nidhi they are capable don't waorry baba ko kuch nahin hoga.

After few minutes Ashu & Nidhi are sitting in the small cafeteria of the hospital.

Nidhi - Dr. Ashu I am sorry mein kal raat aapse milne aarahi thi ki baba ka yeh haal hua.

Ashu - Its ok Nidhi but suno mein jaanta hoon ki this is not the right place or time but main tumse ek sawaal puchna chahta hoon.

Nidhi - Ji puchiye

Ashu - Who ghar jo kal tum rent per liya tha, who jo mere baba ka ghar hain us ghar ki aski maalkein bhi tum hi ho na..

Nidhi looks upto him in shock as to how he knew this truth

Nidhi - Aapko kaise.

Ashu cuts her - Pls Nidhi haan ya naa mein jawaab do.

Nidhi after a few seconds - Haan us ghar ki owner main hoon.

Ashu feels like he is stuck with an iron rod.. he had not believed Mallika completely when she had told about this & somewhere he was hoping that Mallika was wrong but now. He gets furious and his hatred for that girl resurfaces over his love for Nidhi. He gets up and is leaves.

Nidhi seeing such expected reaction from Ashu runs behind him & they reach the parking lot.

Nidhi - Pls Dr. Ashutosh meri baat toh suniye..

Ashu - Ab kya baaki reh gaya hain sunne keliye. Tum jaanthi thi who ghar mere liye kya hain aur tumne mujse itni badi sachayi chupayi.. I will never forgive you for this Dr. Nidhi Verma .. Never

Nidhi is reduced to tears -Aapko meri baat sunni hogi aap bina meri baat sune aise kisi bhi natije pe nahi aasakte.

Ashu is boiling with rage & starts pacing around.

Nidhi -Yeh sach hain ki who ghar mere naam ka hain aur who ghar mere nana ne mujhe diya tha. Jis din aapne mujhe who ghar dikhaya tha I was shocked ki aapke baba ka ghar aur mere nana ka ghar ek kaise hosak tha hain aur hoh kyun mere naam pe hain. Toh maine apne baba se puncha.

Then she narrates him how her parents married against the wishes of her nana & he disowned them,many years later how she got the house documents & keys and house in her name.

Ashu listens to her in bewilderment.. His baba is Nidhi's nana.. Of all the people in this world she the women he loves the most was the cause of misery to him all these years.

Nidhi - Muje nahi pata ki Nana ne who ghar aapko kyun nahi diya aur mere naam kiya par baba ne kaha ki kahin na kahin yeh unka prayaschit tha apne beti ko apnese door karne ke liye.

Ashu slowly starts seeing logic in this & says - Par tum who ghar kyun bechne ko tayyar nahin thi .. I am sure my lawyer would have comtacted you many times.

Nidhi - Mujhe pata nahin kyun but I never felt like selling it.. Something was stopping me . Aur jab mujhe pata chala ki wo ghar aapke liye kitna maayne rakh that hain aur who ladki main hi hoon toh maine soch liya tha ki main who ghar aapko New year pe gift karungi.

Ashu is shocked to hear this - Kya ????

Nidhi - Haan kal maine isiliye aapko waha bulaya tha main aapko aapki sabse badi khushi dena chahthi thi uss ghar ki chaavi par itne mein yeh sab hogaya.

Ashu is now elated he holds her shoulders and asks - Nidhi sach mein ???

Nidhi - Aapki kushi mere liye is duniya mein sabse keemthi hain aur uske liye mein kuch bhi kar sakthi hoon

Ashu has a small tear in his eyes - Nidhi Nidhi .. maine tumhare bare mein kitan galat socha.. I thought you were making a fool out of me.. Tum jaanti nahin ki pichle kuch ghanto se mein kya kya soch raha tha tumhare bare mein ... pls Nidhi mujhe maaf kardo.

Nidhi wipes his tears - Aapne kuch galti nahin kiya, aapka sochna bilkul thik tha .. Hamare beech itni misunderstandings nahi hoti agar mein kal raat aapse milne aagayi hoti but still acha hua aap yaha aaye..
