there certainly exists such characters in society yaar...especially in India...if a girl is unmarried from her maid to the vegetable vendor wants to know why and this phrase of mein aapki umar ki thi toh mere do bacche ho gaye is soo common...suhasini is a representation of that sect...annoying to the hilt...she is not bothered abt her SIL but the log woh seem to have taken to talking in her maaykaa and her family...as she herself said a man can wait till 40 and more no one would question but for a girl life is never that easy even now...
but i hated the way she is forcing ashutosh mallika to happen...and her dialogue that if ashutosh had shame he would have held mallu ka hand long back...whereas for 12 years the guy has been constantly telling her to move on in life which she refuses and this guilt is weighing him down...and mallika never misses an opportunity to make him realize also abt her 12 yrss blah blah...it was her decision and yet he is being blamed for it

I agree with what u have written more particularly with the underlined part. Both Mallika and her SIL are putting all the blame on poor Ashu whereas it is Mallu who has not been able to acept the fact that what Ashu feels is nothing more than friendship.
But to quote William Shakespeare, "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"...Ashu's constant rejection of Mallu's advances and his attraction towards Nidhi is going make Mallu do something very desperate to separate the two. After the wedding and bindi issue she has openly shown her dislike of Nihi and her SIL's comments will now add fuel to her already burning hatred.
