Yesterday's episode was a dramatic one indeed. It was fast-paced and crisp. Raj opened a can of worms at the engagement and we got a dose of EK's trademark tadka. 😉
Day by Day, I find Koyal more and more whimsical. She's temperamental and as Hermione says in HP and The Goblet of Fire, has the 'emotional range of a teaspoon'. 😆😆 She just seems to ricochet from Raj to Maddy as and when it suits her.
That scene where Maddy got a watch for her was SO sweet. Aww Maddy, you're a teddy bear. He spent all his money on buying a watch for Koyal and gifted it to her. Of course, Koyal kind of had to spoil it. I get that she was excited about the passport, but she could have been more gracious. Instead, she totally forgot Maddy's gift and that he was standing there. Koyal seems to be a kind of person who only focuses on one thing and that becomes a priority for her, while all other people and things are options. Side note- Maddy looked very dapper in his kurta and mundu.
Paro again jumped down Raj's throat and it caused him to gulp down a whole bottle of alcohol. Of course, disaster was to follow and Raj vomited out all his anger in the form of the truth about Taani's adoption. It was a high octane scene where everyone stood with their mouths open when Raj blurted out the truth. I kind of felt sorry for Raj, 'cause he is so gonna regret this when he becomes sober. I feel like Surya will without a doubt object to the engagement now. Kya yaar.
As for the precap, could Koyal be anymore annoying? It's like Maddy is her reserve option to go to whenever she is angry with Raj or when he is not available. She seems very childish right now and is behaving like a schoolgirl with a crush. Let's see how her character shapes up.
