Yess you are bang on 👍🏻 Total disconnect of Ishwari being so much motherly and modern to Sona 😀

Somehow the endearment of Papa Dev to Ayush was so missing though the previous scenes of him taking care and questioning about school bullies were much better.

I think the disconnect is because of change in writers and they really want to proceed to the next 3rd angle track and counseling; probably looking to increase TRPs which is abysmal till now 🤷🏻‍♀️

The whole of this season seems to be lackluster. As for the new writer, the names of both her previous shows seem enough caution to run a mile in the other direction.

As for the rushed episodes, I guess the whole sleeping pill drama was to facilitate ishwari’s acceptance of marriage counseling. Who knows maybe in future episodes they may even make it look like it was ishwari’s suggestion of counseling that solved their marital issues. I’m sure in any other scenario she would have gone ballistic on sona for even suggesting counseling. I’m sure she would have claimed either my son is not lunatic (because in ITV any treatment related to mental health is only for mentally unstable people) or that why would dev need anyone to help him when his solvent-to-all-problems mother is there.

no hopes with regards to kids’ issues being addressed as the focus seems to have shifted to the much-in-demand romance. Who wants to see anything about a wife/mother’s emotional dilemmas or even kids’ insecurities or mental health. Just give us some lovey-dovey scenes between the leads and janta kush ho jaati hai.

sorry everyone for being so sour. Just absolutely disappointed with the state of ITV shows and its absolutely degrading standards. This show at least could be enjoyed despite all its shortcomings, but even this has turned out to be a big disappointment.

Here, they are not giving importance to sona feeling. They r raising issues n showing how sona hurt n then end is phuski. First season was interesting bcoz it was budding romance n it was interesting to look forward. Now in this season, what is there to look forward. All they will concentrate on humiliating sona n in the end dev is victimised. How someone even get interest when there is no happiness in the show. They made plain boring and irritating this season.

Ishwari is the one who truly embodies the title of the show, her 'rang' change so frequently and unexpectedly.. Kuch Rang Ishwari ke Aise Bhi!

One day, she is most patriarchal "Betiyan ghar ki mehman hoti hain", next day, "kuch naya sochke karo!"

I hope the counseling brings forth Sona's issues with Dev and Ishwari. If they aren't going to do that, then I don't know why they even need to bother with counseling.

Also, Dev ODing on meds? He needs separate therapy. Obviously he is in a bad place and needs counseling apart from marriage counseling.

Bold - That’s my biggest issue as well this season. Sonakshi is the one who needs to be cared for in this season. We already saw dev’s pain pre and post marriage and how he overcame those issues and became a stronger person with the help of love in the form of sonakshi in s1 and s2. This season should have been about sonakshi’s struggle being in an emotionally draining relationship and compromising in her marriage. Instead how they turn everything being about dev’s struggle is something I haven’t been able to comprehend and the majority of the audience seems to buy it too.

This season seems to be the product of a half-cooked, half-thought recipe for disaster. The only redeeming factor left in the show is the brilliant acting. So kudos to the actors for that.

I was fascinated by her portrayal of Ishwari in Season 1. The subtlety was marvelous!

This season, ehh. Awful writing, actors kya hi kar sakte hain.

Sony will never be able to fetch great TRPs. It doesn't have that range anymore.

About the third angle... I doubt they will show Dev to be even remotely interested. Doesn't seem like that. Again you never know how these writers brains work. What they have up on their sleeves.

Especially the current one roped in...she is exactly like how male leads fans are. Apologists, bare minimum done by ML...even the arrogance of the male lead is glorified by her. That is her history. I doubt she has anything different to offer in this show as well....but if she surprises then great.
