Ishwari did have a difficult past. She had to work as a maid in order to provide for her children as her husband died penniless. No denying that even if we hate her manipulative, controlling & devious ways. But then so do the countless amount of single parents in the world but they do not consider it their right to control each aspect of their child/ children's life nor do they emotional blackmail or send them on a guilt trip to get their own way. Ishwari thinks she is the only mother who has sacrificed so much for them but the fact is even Dev & Neha have equally sacrificed their childhood for their family. Poor Neha would have hardly have been 7 or 8 years old if not younger & she had to look after two kids even younger than her, one of whom ( Nikki) might been just a few months old. She missed out on getting an education while her mother opted to provide a good education to her brother because she thought only he could get them out of the poverty. But this self centered mother has never even acknowledged Neha's sacrifice & contribution in getting them out of poverty. She thinks it was only because of her sacrifice, Dev managed to do so while the reality is that both Dev & Neha had an even greater contribution to it.

Oh! I got a little confused about the family mentioned by you in your previous post. I thought you were referring to the Bose family.😅

That track was such a let down.😅😆Ishwari used to be so scared of Khatri when he used to blackmail her that I was expecting Ishwari to have done a major sin or fraud but the writers even then wanted to make her look Mahaan by revealing that she only stole a single/ pair of bangles from her employer to provide for a good education for her son which unfortunately led to the calling off of the marriage of their daughter and putting them on the streets. ( I hope I got this part right as I can't recollect the exact details.😅) Btw, her employers were rich enough to employ both Ishwari & Khatri as their domestic workers but couldn't afford to buy another bangle. 😲Such a damp squib that track was when finally the cvs made the employer's wife touch devi Ishworry's feet out of gratitude at the hospital when they came to meet her.🤐 For a moment, I was really scared that she would offer to get her beta married off to her employer's daughter as an atonement of her stealing the bangle & for the trouble & misery her actions cost them. 🤣

i dont understand one thing. if the name changing ceremony was done without dev sona knowing & dev wud have never allowed it why does dev think nothing can be done about it now. its just a pooja that can be done again. Also why wud he need to keep ved as his legal name. name was not changed legally. dev n sona had promised ayush that name change will not be done. why cant they stick to that promise. Dew has failed as a father here couldnt stand up for his child today. tomorrow ishwari will say send soha to her bio grandparents n dev will do nothing

Because if Ishwari said something, Dev would take it extremely serious and make it legal. If he goes against that, it would the sentiments of his mother. That's it. It was the reason why Dev said nothing could be done.

But yeah, it was a cliche.

Yes, I was saying about her employer's family.

The pair of bangle belongs to employer lady's SIL's in-laws. The in-laws gave those bangles for SIL's marriage. Since the bangles were robbed, the in-laws thought that employers family was fraud and called off the wedding and the name of the employer family was tarnished. It is resulted in the employer lady's husband to die and her SIL becomes mentally ill. For the treatment of her SIL, the employer lady sold their property and eventually come to the streets.

Actually the bangle was for Dev's business start up I think.

B - Even I felt so, but Sonakshi managed the situation impressing Ishwari a little or lot.

There is no need of even changing it back. The pooja done for the name change has no legal standing in court. Also it was done without the consent & presence of parents. If it is so easy to change the name of a person without his or his parents' consent, then any Tom, Dick & Harry can also do the same including us.( meaning the audience.) 🤣What a shoddily written track it is!!🤢
