Episode begins with Ayush weeping in his room . Soha returns from school, she notices him upset..Ayush reveals how Ishwari aunty changed his name forcibly . She did not listen to his pleas not to change his name . Soha then tries to distract him by offering him pastry . She has got it from school as it was her teacher’s birthday . Soha and Ayush both share the pastry . Ishwari enters the room and appreciates the kids sharing pastry. Ayush is upset on being called Ved . Ishwari gives gifts to both the kids . Ayush is upset n leaves the room . Soha questions Daadi for changing his name when he did not want it .
Ishwari explains to her .. some times kids have to accept elders decisions just like a patient accepts doctors bitter medicines .
Dev returns home and Ishwari offers blessings of the havan for naamkaran . Dev questions Maa for changing the name . Ishwari assures Dev if he explained to Sona …..Dev informs Sona was upset n had gone to her father’s place . Ishwari states that Sona will soon return .
Dev then goes to Ayush and assures his Daadi had committed mistake . He should forgive her , Ayush says his mother had given him his name Ayushman .
Dev assures they will always call him Ayushman . Only in school documents he will be Ved Ayushman Dixit .
At Her father’s house Sona is pampered by her father n Bhaabhi . Sona calls up her maid n asks the well being of the kids , Bijoy remarks how a mother is always concerned for the kids . He asks Sona to eat , she needed energy. Sona says Ayush loved non veg food so she will, get him over to this place .
Sourabh n his wife leave for collecting Mishti from her friends house . Bijoy then asks Sona what was the matter , he understands something big was troubling Sona .
She reveals Ishwari secretly changed Ayushman’s name . Without consulting Devakshi . Sona feels betrayed by Ishwari n ashamed for failing to keep Ayush his promise , Dev is furious with Ishwari , Sona complains how Dev was asking Sona to move on . Bijoy says joint family did not mean opinions have to be thrust on others .
at Dixit house , Ishwari bribes Pizza to Ayush to make him have dinner , he refuses to eat , Ishwari does emotional blackmailing saying Daadi will eat only after he eats dinner .
Ishwari then befriends Ayush, takes him in her lap .. tells him stories of Dev’s childhood , how Dev lost his father as a young boy . Ishwari narrates how the family shared their meagre food . Ayush then feeds Ishwari aunty pizza . She feeds him pizza too.
Ayush n Ishwari share pizza .
Ayush gets emotional.
Later Dev calls up Sona as Shubh is missing mumma .Sona refuses to talk to Dev , he then calls Bijoy … Sona gets upset hearing Shubh calling mumma … Bijoy tells Dev strongly that he was a father , he can take care of the children once in a while . Why should the mother always be burdened with the kids . Dev could share the responsibilities too. He cuts the phone bidding a good night ,
Bijoy tells Sona that one should enforce one’s point to make sure mother n son understood her views . This was the way to handle that mother n son .
Dev then plays with Shubh , distracts him n entertains him, tells him a story .
Soha senses Mummy never leaves Shubh and goes away . She asks Papa if he had a fight with mummy . Dev denies . Soha says she was a big girl n she understood everything . Dev says Mummy was tired n has taken a Day off , she is resting at Naanu’s place .

Dev comes up to Sona’s bedroom and bangs on the door . Sona tells her Bhaabhi that when Dev Dixit wanted something he would achieve by hook or by crook . The door opens as Dev bangs on it .
