Im sorry but i dont agree with treatment of Soha

I watched the episode and i felt a bit uneasy with the over pampering of Ayush and neglection of Soha. Granted that Ayush needs the attention as he is new to the family yet that shouldnt mean that the treatment of Soha should be any different. The dining table scene and especially the scene at night where everyone ran to Ayush and Soha was left alone. How would a child feel seeing their father and grandmother doting on a stranger in her eyes yet neglecting her?

Ishwari and Dev are already showing a farak between Soha and Ayush which isnt sitting comfortably with me. Sona will take her time and balance both Soha and Ayush as I think she is capable of doing that as i think Ishwari and Dev are single focused (tunnel vision) sort of individuals so they cant at the minute.

Ive got a feeling that Sona could leave the house in future for Soha indifference between Ayush and her continues aswell as get worse.

My first post on this forum so hope u dont mind me sharing my views on the episode.

Welcome to the forum. I get what you are feeling and neglect of any child is bad. I think the makers are trying to show that Easwari and Dev are hurting Soha unknowingly and Sona is torn between Soha and Ayush.

Same thought from me as well. It's just beginning. I hv already wrote in gemini post, that can see coming esh saying "sona chali gayi, apna bacha ke liye bee ruki nahin" 😆

I agree on ishwari part ...but not on dev part...

For me dev is trying to balance between the two.... In dining table scene, on ayush's entry too ,he was actually not happy with ishwari's behaviour,

and in the night scene, i feel if instead of ayush, soha was there ,dev would have reacted the same way how he reacted for ayush, because everyone just saw ayush was there in middle of glasses but only dev have understood that he might have seen his father in his dream....

I feel dev is right at his place and sona is right at her place , only ishwari is overdoing everything but it's her chr trait of overdoing everything which is not right at all

Totally agreed

Ayush is in one of the biggest trauma of his life , he is almost an orphan now , saw his father dying .

Only Ishwari is acting “ weird”

Dev is trying to balance every thing

Dev is right in his place , but Ishwari must be brought under control , if not one of the child will run away from the house .

Soha’s character also change , when Sona was taking care of her she was a better behaved

Dev's priority right now is to comfort Ayush. Dev himself lost his father at a young age and knows what Ayush is going through. He feels for the child and wants to make him feel that he is not alone. He loves Suhana and Ayush a lot but he doesn't notice the effect Ayush's arrival has on Soha. And it might have been fine with Suhana if Ishwari doesn't start showing a clear preference to Ayush. She maybe okay with her father comforting the boy considering she does have a sibling (Shubh ) but her grandmother doting on him and neglecting her is not gonna help.

Sona sees the effect Ayush's arrival has on Soha and Ishwari and on Ayush himself. She doesnt know how to approach Ayush at the moment. She is still processing the truth. She still needs to feel the connection to Ayush to know how to get through to him. She also doesn't want Suhana to feel less important. She has to strike a balance and she is trying to find that.

Also he needs to tell ishwari to back off a bit from ayush. that child was almost scared at dining table. as a father he needs to do that first. If he cant do that, take the children n sona off for a long vacation till ayush feels comfy with both his parents first

dev is wrong because as a father he is not seeing soha being overlooked & feeling out of place. Him & ishwari left soha alone, & he is questioning as to why sonaskhi too dint come to ayush. someone needed to be with soha too rt? otherwise dev is handling ayush pretty well

@bold bcoz it was ayush in the middle of glass not soha.... And Sonakshi came to soha when she saw ishwari hand pulling part but dev didn't see that and neither Sonakshi informed him later

@bold2 agreed but both are their parents not dev alone and for taking vacation both need to plan first and for that both need to talk as both are working....not just dev

dev is not listening to sona's warnings about soha. she did tell him to not make sona uncomfortable call ishwari ahead. he dint listen. she told him not to make kids share rooms he dint listen. they have such big house. why cant ayush be given his own room or kept with shubh

Bold@1 really?? Ayush who lost his father and just came to new house , if share his room with shubh(4 yr old) , don't you think he'll be scarred like hell... Atleast someone of his age will anyday better than shubh ....even thanks to soha's unfriendliness ,that small child scared terribly on the first night itself....infact right now he should have slept with dev and sona..but 'Sonakshi would have felt uncomfortable' . Even adult try to avoid to sleep alone when someone dear have passed....he's just a kid...

Bold@Dev is already giving time to sona to adjust with ayush ....he didn't force sona anywhere to show any motherly love to ayush.... Till glass thing happened... And during glass thing , dev didn't see ishwari behaviour ,so it was very obvious of dev to call out sona for her freezed behaviour...giving time to sona doesn't mean to let ayush suffer alone in some other house

For me both are at fault and since this show is about flawed chr , I don't mind being them flawed till they don't turn negative like ishwari... in the S1 , Sonakshi was better than dev , but not in this.... Leave motherly love, she is not even showing humanity to ayush...
